How big were your babies?

First baby weighed a nice 11lb 2oz.

I’ve heard they get bigger each time, and I’m honestly dreading the idea of a bigger baby. I was massive at the end and it was uncomfortable all round.

How much did your baby’s weigh? And did they get bigger?

DC1 is only 5 months and looking to start TTC when she is around 11months old.

Mine were both 8lb something (can't remember without checking), but the first, a girl, was a few ounces heavier than the second (a boy). Both full term

They don’t get bigger each time, I had 6.4, 10.2 and then 7.

The middle one just takes after his dad!

Not for me, though they did come earlier. My first was 10lber and the others were smaller.

First was 7lb 6oz, second was 8lb 9oz. Pregnant now and hoping for one smaller than my second as baby was stuck and it became an emergency. I am being monitored though for growth.

My first was a boy 11 pound 10 ounces, my second was a girl 9 pound 1 ounce but she was also born two weeks early x

First ten days overdue 7lb 9oz female
Second 8lb 3oz 4 days late male

My heavier one was a nicer birth by miles.

2. 7lb 5oz - 39+0

Both the same sex.

Both girls. First one 6lb 4oz and second one 6lb 8oz. Seemed like bloody hard work pushing them out, so I'm in awe of anyone that pushes out an 11 pounder!

1st - 4lb 12 oz, 3 weeks early. 2nd - 6lb 6oz, on due date. 3rd - 4lb 4oz, 10 days early.

My younger sister was a lot lighter than me.

DS was 10lb10 and I also can’t imagine No 2 bring even bigger.

I didn’t push an 11 pounder out in the end TheRobin had to have an EMCS.

Seems like there really is no pattern to it. I’m hoping for an 8 pound one and will definitely be having an Elective section second time around.

DS was 10lb exactly 5 days over. DD due for a section in 12 days is predicted to be 8lb something at 39 weeks.

Mine were variable & also involved CSs which affected gestation for the last 2 as they had to be delivered earlier

but iirc (youngest is 26 now, details are fuzzy)

DS2 37 weeks (ditto) 7-5

(As I'm 6'0, & come from a family of tall people with large babies, this was all a bit weird - D's side small-average though so probably all down to them. Looks like DS1 would have been over 9lbs by 40 weeks)

My two older sisters were lighter than me. I was 9lbs.

Mine all got smaller. Thank god. Though if ds2 has also been born at 42 weeks I think he may have ended up being the biggest
