Why are you up early this morning?

I've been up since 4.30 as my 1 yearold wanted a bottle and then vomited all over his cot (we are trying him on our milk). Partner cleaned it up whilst I cleaned son up and partner has now gone back to sleep as he got up with son yesterday. Son is now happily playing with his toys. We usually don't get up until 5.30/6.

Why are you up this morning?

Morning all, the coffee is filtering. Now who wants toast?

Dowser · 29/10/2019 03:36

Ill.
Slept most of yesterday when I wasn’t in acute pain so wide awake now with the headache from hell.

HeronLanyon · 29/10/2019 03:36

Just had second cup thanks. Oatmeal on the hob. Have given up trying to evade insomnia. Much better to get up sometimes !

Uo because my baby (6weeks) has a cold. So he's not falling asleep unless I rock him in my arms.

Dowser · 29/10/2019 03:40

Maddiemookins

How was Judy
I wanted to see it but it’s not showing in our area any more

unexpectedthird · 29/10/2019 03:44

My 5 week old seems to be on sleep strike and is now apparently ravenous.

I slept between 10pm and 11.30pm and have been awake with him since. My elder DC need to be up for school at 6.

Today would be a good day for his first smile!

annienone · 29/10/2019 04:03

Slept from 10-3:30am and now I'm using maternity leave to catch up on series 5 of luther with a cup of tea and bouncing on a birthing ball. 38+4 desperately trying to encourage the arrival of a certain little one!

MaryBoBary · 29/10/2019 04:07

I had surgery yesterday to fit a metal plate in my broken arm and the pain gas woken me up 😞

AngelaScandal · 29/10/2019 04:12

@MaryBoBary ouch

I’m awake since 3.15 bf DD. I haven’t had a full night’s sleep since December.

MrsHampshire2017 · 29/10/2019 04:32

Pregnancy insomnia 😔 I wake at 4 pretty consistently now and I’m just hoping this is one of the days when I go back to sleep at 5.30. It’s my birthday and I was hoping for a lie in as hubby booked a spa away as a mini babymoon and so I can ‘destress from work’.

Gutted there’s no bath in the room - it’s my favourite way to spend my witching hour.

HeronLanyon · 29/10/2019 04:59

Happy birthday mrshampshire ! Flowers

Biblioness · 29/10/2019 05:07

Ithinkwerealonenowtiffany · 29/10/2019 06:55

Up since 6. Leaving the house at 7:15 for a day walking on the mountains. Back my sunset.

MrsJonesAndMe · 29/10/2019 07:18

We were up at 5 and has been since the clock change. Have a poorly DH too. I might crawl into bed at 8pm tonight!

TheMonaOgg · 29/10/2019 07:22

Because my DH is away for work for a few nights and as ever this means that DS aged 3 has finally come down with the cold that's going around and woke up just after 5 coughing. Also our two 6 month old kittens are bloody arseholes!!

meow1989 · 29/10/2019 07:24

Not as early as some but clock change means ds gets up at at 45 instead of 7.45. Extra hour my bum Smile

MorrisZapp · 29/10/2019 07:32

Love this thread. 7.30 isn't early for most but it is for me, I got up at 7 because I'm going to a work conference today. I don't own a smart jacket so I'm going to wear my biker jacket, it'll mostly be off anyway.

Day out of the office and free pastries, can't argue really.

MorrisZapp · 29/10/2019 07:32

SIL said Judy was really depressing.

HeronLanyon · 29/10/2019 08:08

Even more sad - the house she lived in in Chelsea (mews) which was recently torn down and redeveloped was refused blue plaque ! Life long just fan here. Can’t go see it.

HeronLanyon · 29/10/2019 08:08

Judy not just.
