“No one has asked if I was ok” (alight msiqiote but typing on phone)

What are people’s thoughts? Good on her i think but equally she can leave public eye

OP posts:
BertrandRussell · 19/10/2019 14:04

Have they ever asked for privacy about anything but the birth of their child?

Funghi · 19/10/2019 14:15

and yet here you are reading away. Do you not think that odd?

Because reading a few posts is the same as appearing on every MM thread, giving lengthy and invested responses to any MM negativity, researching every rumour/fact - be that from a sleb site or MM’s family history, schooling etc., getting agitated with anything anti-MM despite feeling ‘personally attacked’ on every thread?

Sure.

I liked Megan when she and Harry got engaged and thought she was a beautiful and charming bride. I thought she was a breath of fresh air in the royal family. My opinion of her began to change when she wore that coat buttoned in such a way at Eugenie's wedding that it led to everyone speculating that she was pregnant. It was unnecessary on that day, particularly as we now know that she was not that far gone.

I have no time for her and Harry and the part of the interview I have seen is utterly ridiculous. So self indulgent. It's not about her.

Well said @bohemia14

rededucator · 19/10/2019 15:26

She's an actress who wears dresses worth tens of thousands of pounds, and jewelry worth hundreds of thousands, doesn't work, has a huge staff to cook, clean and take care of her and her family's every whim. What's she wanting sympathy for? She's ruthless enough to dump her country, home, religion, friends, family, father and dog to get her hands on the prize and now we are meant to feel sorry for her? Hmm

FlamingoWingo · 19/10/2019 15:36

So, everything is okay for rich people? And they don’t have mental health problems, difficult upbringings or any sort of trauma ever?

Definitely not post-natal depression - how could that possibly happen to a woman with a nanny, or, god forbid, a yoga studio...

And if they do, well, that is absolutely fine, they can afford therapy to ‘fix’ it... Really?!

Some of this is so horrible to read. The posters writing it must be so unhappy - it is just the equivalent of online trolling in a comments section. Why can’t we support other women? It isn’t a competition.

Hey1256 · 19/10/2019 15:37

@rededucator are you fucking serious?

She's ruthless enough to dump her country, home, religion, friends, family, father and dog to get her hands on the prize and now we are meant to feel sorry for her?

She dumped her father for selling stories and moved country for love and that's a crime? She never asked anyone to feel sorry for her she was asked a question and gave an honest, REAL answer.

So because you have chefs, and cleaners etc it means you no longer have emotions - is that what you're saying?

So pathetic,

BertrandRussell · 19/10/2019 15:39

It’s important to remember that she has a fake arse. It was clearly visible at the WellChild awards thing. She is clearly capable of anything.

HuggedTree · 19/10/2019 15:39

I like her. The daily mail comments section are going crazy.
I like them and what they do, she is having so much abuse thrown her way for no reason

Hey1256 · 19/10/2019 15:45

The basis of this thread = most people love to tear down people that are more well off than they are/privileged and see them suffer.

It makes me want to puke, seriously

NoSauce · 19/10/2019 15:47

HuggedTree

The daily mail comments section are going crazy

I’d expect no less from such a bunch of thinly veiled, racist thickos.

HuggedTree · 19/10/2019 15:51

@nosauce it really is scary how a lot of the country thinks and acts. And a lot if my family

Bluntness100 · 19/10/2019 15:56

It’s important to remember that she has a fake arse

What??? No she doesn't.

TartanTexan · 19/10/2019 16:00

I think that’s sarcasm Smile

Funghi · 19/10/2019 16:09

Sorry me being autistic bothers you so much.

Confused
Leflic · 19/10/2019 16:16

She moved country for love

Really? Why would someone with a successful career,of a certain age and who has just been proposed to by a Prince, need to move “ for love”.How to you know Harry didn’t suggest him moving to the States?

This is all the new PR person doing a job. Honestly, if I was Meghan I’d be miserable too. But there’s literally no reason why this “do in love” new family just can’t pack in the Royal bit and bugger off. Plenty of rich sand famous have security etc etc.

BertrandRussell · 19/10/2019 16:20

“ But there’s literally no reason why this “do in love” new family just can’t pack in the Royal bit and bugger off”
Why should they? They’re doing all the royal stuff perfectly well and seem to enjoy as much of it as the others do. Why should they be pushed out of the “job” by the vile snakes?

Eastie77 · 19/10/2019 16:42

I recall William said something along the lines of the reason he waited so long to marry KM was because he wanted her to fully understand what marrying into the RF and to back out if needed. MM clearly married too quickly and Harry probably rushed her into it precisely because he thought she might reconsider when she realised just how crazy and shit marrying into his family is.

I wonder if the "not many people have asked" comment was a dig at the RF. I can't imagine anyone asking after her well-being, they're all about just getting on with things. I can picture Princess Anne tutting and rolling her eyes at that interviewGrin

ClaireS79 · 19/10/2019 16:45

I've no sympathy for people who play the victim. I have no tolerance for those who try to bring something about themselves up, whether that's religion sexuality or anything else and say that's why people are bothered by them when nothing could be further from the truth.

NoSauce · 19/10/2019 16:47

But there’s literally no reason why this “do in love” new family just can’t pack in the Royal bit and bugger off

Bugger off? Why the fuck should she? I’m sure without the constant horrible scrutiny and on line trolling, MM would enjoy her royal role.

ClaireS79 · 19/10/2019 16:50

I'll be interested to see what the Meghan fans say in x years time when Brand Meghan steps up again. This is far from the end of her master plan.

PortiaCastis · 19/10/2019 16:52
