I love the ‘what is happening in your house threads’
Our Saturday evening is that we just had a Chinese as it was our staff party last night and me and dh are feeling a bit delicate. Me and Ds are watching Johnathon creek on Netflix and husband has gone up to bed to watch some tv.

My daughter and two friends getting ready for me to drop them at an 18th - oh to be young again ❤️

MythicalBiologicalFennel · 12/10/2019 19:19

Sitting on the stairs on my own as DC are so loud and unpleasant.

LadyMonicaBaddingham · 12/10/2019 19:20

The boys and I are watching Midsomer Murders repeats on ITV Hub and discussing whether we want to eat anything after an epic binge at an international buffet earlier...

GrapefruitGin · 12/10/2019 19:20

I love these threads too! Chinese sounds perfect. I’m waiting for dinner to cook, sipping rosé and waiting for DP to arrive home from work. Strictly’s on the telly and will probably have an early night as I’m up at 4am for work!

Twospaniels · 12/10/2019 19:21

Husband and I on the sofa on iPads and half watching strictly. Both daughters just gone out to fetch the Indian takeaway (too rural for delivery)
Doggos flat out on the floor

Zofloramummy · 12/10/2019 19:21

Watching swimming on Eurosport and knitting, fire is on and cats asleep 😊

beckyvardy · 12/10/2019 19:24

DD eating her tea.

Me drinking wine and reading top funniest tweets on Twitter. This one cracked me up.

DH watching rugby drinking Stella.

Waiting for our tea (Maggie oven bag curry thing which we added extra spice to).

Here on my own with some vegan sausage rolls in the oven and half-watching "Britain's Historic Towns" on C4. It's about Bristol, where I used to live. Going to cook some gnocchi and green veg to go with the sausage rolls in 5 minutes. Looking forward to "Spiral" at 9 pm on BBC4. 😍

Goldensunnydays81 · 12/10/2019 19:24

Oh paddy I know to be young again some of them at the staff party last night were 18 and they all seem fine today! I just can’t do it!
Oh mythical why are they being so loud?

Lady love midsomer murders!
Grapefruit sounds like a perfect evening!

The kitten has just come up for snuggles too

What's spiral cremeegg?

lovelyjubilly · 12/10/2019 19:25

I am lying on my bed.
Dd2 is next to me reading the BFG.
Dd1 is eating dessert in the kitchen.
Dd3 is asleep in her cot.
Dh is cleaning vomit off the deep-pile rug in the living room.
Lodger us hiding in his room.

Bobthefishermanswife · 12/10/2019 19:26

Ooo I love these threads!!!

My son's asleep against me on the sofa after being bathed and settled back down after projectile vomiting over himself, me, the coffee table and livingroom floor. Quite scary for both me and dp as at 3 months old this has not happened before. I have to say breast milk sicked up smells awful!!!

DP is on his pc playing World of Warcraft, dog and I are snuggled on the sofa binge watching waterloo road on Iplayer.

I think we might order a takeaway as neither of us feels like cooking.

SallyLovesCheese · 12/10/2019 19:27

Love Jonathan Creek!

DH is putting DS to bed and I'm contemplating a jacket spud with tuna for dinner, chilling on the sofa with my phone and a beer on the go. And admiring the homemade curtains I put up today!

Span1elsRock · 12/10/2019 19:27

We've just had smoked salmon quiche warmed in the oven, salad and some chips - was yummy. Now drinking tea out of christmas mugs as DD3 has decided it's time to start using them....... and dunking Nice biscuits in them. Heating's on, the dogs are walked and fed, and it's all lovely and cosy. Happy days.

shellysheridan · 12/10/2019 19:28

Ds's are eating sausage, mash and sweetcorn while watching Spongebob. Dp is watching a film on his phone on the sofa and I'm sorting washing. We've not long got home from the theatre

Catsbollox · 12/10/2019 19:29

We've just had a Chinese too! Sat with dc watching some strange cartoon they're really into and wondering if dh has plans to go get me some fizz, but doubt it as he's gone all moody all of a sudden Confused

Mythical, we've all had those times Flowers hope they're at least down soon for you.

brimfullofasha · 12/10/2019 19:31

DH are off out for a meal after dropping the kids off at my mum's. it doesn't happen very often but he is hungover and I have PMT so it could be a disaster.

Drogosnextwife · 12/10/2019 19:31

On holiday in a beautiful farm house in Yorkshire, I'm in one bath, youngest ds in another bath, oldest ds playing xbox, DM down stairs drinking whisky and reading the paper, dog sleeping under the table. Poor dp has been lest at home and is currently sleep g before his niggtshoft tonight. I'm going down for a chocolate apple and a bailey's soon. Perfect Saturday night Grin

Goldensunnydays81 · 12/10/2019 19:31

Laid in an unmade bed in silence (fresh sheets waiting) feeling sorry for myself. Currently on week 4 of HG and not had an appetite the whole time. Only thrown up 4 times today so that’s an improvement! Still not eating though. Waiting for OH to finish work and bring me some apple Lucozade and some fruit, hopefully that would sort me out! Oh how i’d love to have a Chinese and enjoy it

TheWoollybacksWife · 12/10/2019 19:32

Eating chilli while watching the Super League Grand Final.

I need to take DD2 to work in 10 minutes then I'm going to have a glass or two of wine while knitting and watching about 5 episodes of Instinct on catch up.

Frith2013 · 12/10/2019 19:32

I’m cooking mussels whilst watching Strictly.

Oldest is out at my brother in law’s.

Youngest is watching a football match.

gingercat02 · 12/10/2019 19:32

We all had chicken fajitas for dinner. DH cleared up 😍 and now he and I are watching a really bad horror film. The DSs are both in their rooms. ☹️ I tried to get us to have a family night all together, but they’d rather be in their rooms.

Is there a magical way to get teenagers downstairs??
