I love the ‘what is happening in your house threads’
Our Saturday evening is that we just had a Chinese as it was our staff party last night and me and dh are feeling a bit delicate. Me and Ds are watching Johnathon creek on Netflix and husband has gone up to bed to watch some tv.

OP posts:

Children blissfully sleeping while I eat icecream and ignore the housework

shitpark · 12/10/2019 22:28

I am drunk, and busy posting on FB telling people what I think of them

shitpark · 12/10/2019 22:28

I am pretty close to the stage where I text the man I have an almighty crush on

shitpark · 12/10/2019 22:29

And I am rewatching Catastrophe, series 4

TheFaerieQueene · 12/10/2019 22:30

Watching the Mark Ronson documentary on BBC 2

mamaduckbone · 12/10/2019 22:35

Watching the Jesse Pinkman Breaking Bad follow up film on Netflix. I love Jesse!
Ds1 is upstairs chatting to his (not) girlfriend on FaceTime and ignoring my messages that he needs to bring his phone downstairs.
Ds2 is asleep.

C0untDucku1a · 12/10/2019 22:39

Ive literally just finished el camino.

taytosandwich · 12/10/2019 22:58

@shitpark did you text him Grin

JellyfishAndShells · 12/10/2019 23:06

I’ve just finished watching the double episode of the fabulous Spiral - ( French police series) - the first of series 7. I hardly watch anything on the actual TV live anymore since 99% is absolute dross, especially on a Saturday, so this has cheered me up for the autumn !

Heard D going to bed, where I think I might join him shortly.

happypotamus · 12/10/2019 23:14

I am sitting on my settee eating some not as nice as it sounded chocolate orange trifle while considering how much housework I need to do. Yes, I am in the U.K., it is 11.10pm, so that is not what I want to be doing, but my parents are visiting tomorrow, I have worked about 40hours over the past 3 days and barely eaten, and not been at home enough to tidy up.
DH is eating Oreos while looking at news or social media on the computer in the other room.
DDs are asleep.
Cats are annoying DH.

TheDogsMother · 12/10/2019 23:29

Sitting on the sofa with DP (snoozing) and DDog (snoozing). Been to the cinema to see Downton and now have a gin and tonic with some catch up TV. A nice evening Smile

Adversecamber22 · 13/10/2019 01:45

DH is on a trip for three days so I am sat in bed eating crisps as he hates it.

aurynne · 13/10/2019 05:12

Sunday afternoon in New Zealand. I woke up after 9 am. A beautiful Spring day, sunny and with a light breeze. My DH and I have finished building a raised garden for our vegetables, one more to go! We have both been to see a dog house someone was selling on Facebook for our new puppy but it was too small, so we didn't end up buying it, but the lovely seller gave us 2 children's scooters she did not need. I have found a family in need with 5 children who would love to have them, so now I feel very happy I can give them away to someone who will enjoy them. Now thinking about making myself a coffee and then taking our dog for a walk.

HerRoyalNotness · 13/10/2019 05:15

I’ve just eaten a packet of rashuns. 2500cal. Why do I do it to myself? Off to bed now

OakleyStreetisnotinChelsea · 13/10/2019 05:18

I'm getting dressed for work, everyone else asleep. Uk, far too bloody early.

LionelRitchieStoleMyNotebook · 13/10/2019 05:34

Thought DS was over the worst of the child he's had that's ruined his usually blissful 7:30-7 sleep pattern, no. Woke up coughing and full of snot at two thirty, still awake....

Enidcat5 · 13/10/2019 05:37

Holding a snotty teething baby upright whilst she sleeps. I've had about 2 hours sleep and I know ill feel shit tomorrow but it's better than putting her down on her back and hearing her struggle to breathe. Bless her, it's her first proper cold and she's feeling pants.

Bluewavescrashing · 13/10/2019 05:45

DS age 5 woke at 4.45am, happily got up, went downstairs and turned on the TV. I grumpily told him to do a wee and go back to bed,it's the middle of the night. Hoping he actually goes back to sleep now although I probably won't. Luckily his big sister sleeps in until 8am on weekends usually.

CileyMayRhinovirus · 14/10/2019 21:01

I'm listening to music and waiting for the baby to settle so I can get a much needed early night.

happypotamus · 14/10/2019 21:19

I'm having a drink and wondering if it's too early for bed.
DH is on the phone complaining to virgin media.
DD1 is in bed reading
DD2 is asleep

theSnuffster · 14/10/2019 21:28

Sat on DD's bedroom floor trying to get her to sleep. Back and hips are killing me. I'm waiting for OH to come home from work with our tea but I won't actually be able to eat until DD is asleep 😡

HasThisSoddingNameGoneToo · 14/10/2019 22:56

I’m in bed about to watch ER on my iPad. DS1 is in his room, on the Internet. We just had a lovely chat. :) DS2 is HOPEFULLY asleep. DH is downstairs playing Witcher. Scar is wandering around looking for a lap.

HasThisSoddingNameGoneToo · 14/10/2019 22:56

That should be DCat, not scar! 🙈

amiw · 14/10/2019 23:09

DS upstairs. He got back from uni 90 mins ago. Dinner done after couch to 5k week 6 run in the rain. Cats fast asleep. We are om sofa watching... benidorm!
