What are you pissed off at RIGHT now?

I don't know if there's already something like this, or how I could check, but I thought it might be good to have a thread for some non-judged venting.

So..

In here you can tell us WHATEVER you're pissed off at WITHOUT risking judgement - because we won't judge in here, only offer sympathy!

To start, I'm pissed off because we have just spent months and a lot of money getting the kitchen done, completely ripped out and started again including plastering, lights.. the lot.. and DDS has made himself some toast, buttered and cut it directly on the worktop (despite us owning 2 chopping boards and many, many plates, and us telling him countless times to use them) and left a beautiful big scratch on it from the knife. It's so obvious, you can see it from the other side of the room, he must have hacked at it really, really roughly.. and I'm unbelievably gutted. :(.

Yep that sounds like my hubby too although he has nagged our children to use a chopping board and he just leaves the mess .. the worse case is my pet hate when he makes himself cheese and crackers and all the little bits left all over the worktop it’s like we have mice lol .. I understand your pain

ForeverBabe · 21/09/2019 10:30

Im pissed off that i read a thread about mothers being discriminatory against males changing nappies of children in daycare. I am pregnant and wAs looking at daycare options and i just realized that this wasn’t even something i had thought about. Now I am uncomfortable with the idea of a man changing my child. I don’t want to be prejudiced but now I am worried and have anxieties. Great.

danmthatonestakentryanotheer · 21/09/2019 10:31

I'm pissed off with the patronising git on the phone who asked for my date of birth (for security check), replying with the words "ooh a Christmas Day baby".....1..I'm an adult not a baby and 2...after 50+ years I'm fully aware of what day my birthday falls on thankyou!!!

moanyhole · 21/09/2019 10:33

Im pissed off because my 2 immediate superiors have started a relationship, one being the part owner of the company, moved in together very quickly and are now coming in late and leaving work early, doing the bare minimum and generally taking the piss. I feel its so disrespectful and theres f all I can do about it. And when they do come in they spend more time wondering what to uave for dinner instead of actually doing some actual work.

RebootYourEngine · 21/09/2019 10:34

I am pissed off that I have to spend the day with someone who has been spreading lies about me and shit stirring as always.

If they piss me off today I may abandon them miles from home.

princessspotify · 21/09/2019 10:47

I'm pissed off that my DH woke me up at 7 this morning, just because

LolaSmiles · 21/09/2019 10:54

People telling me that I mustn't have long to go now until I give birth.
Firstly, I have more time left than you think.
Secondly, I'm well aware that I have a massive bump thank you.

WanderingMind · 21/09/2019 11:15

I'm pissed off because I invited DD and her boyfriend to a weekend away and she has told me that its only worth going if they stay at my house for 4 days each side of the weekend too because it's a 3-hour journey and they would be tired. Never mind that WE were going to be paying for everything and DH would be doing ALL the driving.

Sometimes I think she really takes after my ex-MIL for sheer brass neck!

derxa · 21/09/2019 11:15

I'm pissed off because my new neighbours are trying to get planning permission to build a whacking great house in their paddock. I don't want to submit an objection but I'm going to have to. I just want a peaceful life Why can't they just fuck off!

Smotheroffive · 21/09/2019 11:17

Pissed off pp felt it necessary to tell another pp off for their rant.

Preaching about walking in someone elses shows ... ironically! Angry wobytide

@gingernaut very impressed at your abilitys! To out yourself forward like this, and to learn a new thing, and I hope you get a lot of pleasure from it now. Having buddies doesn't make them the most skilled at their craft, they just had lots to vote for them. This is what people do at these things. They invite everybody they can think of so it's nothing to do with actual talent. Its a gimmick to sell tickets by the organisers.

Support to everyone needing it. Flowers
...and Cake is deserved also, especially for those coming off long nightshifts and needing some sugars.

Also pissed off here with the teens making the place look like we have mice (and resident tramps). Grrr! And being continually bloody countermanded when I've gone to so much trouble to organise something. Its reduced me to tears, being torn down over the way I've done things. Next time they can do it them bloody selves. Ingrates!

If its any consolation to those feeling like milking machines all night, I'd rather be night feeding!

smemorata · 21/09/2019 11:20

had my nails done today, and one has already fallen clean off
I had my nails painted yesterday and it came off in the swimming pool! Confused Never happened before. Is nail varnish not waterproof now??

SunshineAngel · 21/09/2019 11:51

It's pissing me off that someone has just told me I shouldn't be on this site as I don't have kids.

I originally made my account to enquire about an issue about my partner's son, who I live with. In my book, living with your partner's child is as good as having kids, as you have to be a mother figure while they're with you!

Correct, I've never had kids, but that's all the more reason that I need to ask if I'm being unreasonable here and there, how other people dealt with this and that, etc.

Plus, people on here are so lovely, and there are lots of discussions that help me with the relationship with my parents, my partner, and many other things.

I know it's called Mumsnet but it's not like I'm posing as a mum of 5. I'm open and honest about my situation and I thought everyone was welcome!

I'm pissed off/angry/upset today. Clinic put me through another failed cycle, they knew that it wouldn't work yet encouraged me to continue so here in still in bed wondering if it's all worth it and wishing I had everyday problems to deal with like the washer breaking or the neighbours cat shitting in the garden again. Instead I'm miserable and its ruined my weekend.

Smotheroffive · 21/09/2019 12:05

Angel ignore it, its utter nonsense! Who do they think they are, the site police. Aaahhh! Get orf my land! types piss me off too!

It doesn't matter what you do. Whether a DM or not, although this site has its own dedicated area for DSM's aswell. So I think that eminently qualifies you to be here.

It's about a lot more than being a DM, as being a DM is a lot more than just being a DM, as huge and important role as that is, DMs do a lot more besides.

Smotheroffive · 21/09/2019 12:06

Hennys sorry for your loss and grief. Flowers

MrGsFancyNewVagina · 21/09/2019 12:16

It's pissing me off that someone has just told me I shouldn't be on this site as I don't have kids.

Oh well that wanker can just fuck of over to nethuns if they want to dictate who is on here. If it helps I’m a widow and get fucked off with people practically tilting their head as they ask “did you and MrG not have any family”. Listen you complete fucking wankers, i may not have given birth to my children but they are MINE and my family. OP, pay no heed to that tosser, we have people from all backgrounds on here and quite a sizeable percentage of them have never had kids and some don’t even want kids.

MrGsFancyNewVagina · 21/09/2019 12:18

I’m sorry for your sad loss, Henny. 💐

Raffles1981 · 21/09/2019 12:19

My neighbour who is chainsawing a load of wood. Started at 8am and shows no sign of stopping. I have a headache.

RedRec · 21/09/2019 12:22

A bit pissed off with myself for two reasons:
1 Cannot tear myself off mumsnet, having 'discovered' it last month. (Best and most interesting waste of time ever though, I have to say.)
2 Have accepted an invitation to a party tonight and don't want to go.

babyblackbird · 21/09/2019 12:28

I'm pissed off that the bloody students who live next door are smoking and even though I am inside I can still smell their cigarette smoke from in here and also that I feel like I can't sit in my own garden because they are incapable of having conversations at a normal volume and need the entire neighbourhood to hear what they have to say.

brookelopez · 21/09/2019 12:31

@RedRec me too re the party! don't know what I was thinking. im 16 weeks pregnant and the tiredness is killing me. They must have caught me when I had some energy

Gingernaut · 21/09/2019 12:34

@SillyMoomin, about 6 weeks of ignoring housework and doing the bare minimum of everything else.

SuzieBishop · 21/09/2019 12:36

I’m pissed off that Walter White is just stringing Krazy 8 along and he needs to just kill him. (We’re re-watching Breaking Bad)

LoonyLunaLoo · 21/09/2019 12:36

I’m pissed off because we booked our half term holiday with Thomas Cook and now it’ll probably be cancelled but it’s too late to find another at a reasonable price. I’m pissed off that they’re still spouting that whole ‘business as usual’ crap when it clearly isn’t...
