Shiny new thread, continuing from here

A diary thread for our daily meals, to record, share, glean menu inspiration and chat, but no judging each other’s food choices.

This was yesterday as It's early in the morning in Aus.

Breakfast: Sardines on toast. Two cups of tea.

Lunch: Aldi pate on rice cakes. Couple of apples.

Snacks: orange/satsumas.

Dinner: kangaroo stew with crusty bread. Two glasses of red wine.

B: chocolate bar and coffee

L: chocolate crisps and coke

T: chinese takeaway.

In my mind, I had the time and energy to eat properly.

B- tomato omelette
S-cappucino
L- ham sandwich, strawberries and cheese dippers
D- Turkey monce burger with rattatouille
Entire bottle of prosecco and woke up anxious and ill so have decided to not drink again until November!

B today will be the bread and butter pudding no-one wanted for pudding!

Yesterday:

Bag of sweet and salted skinny popcorn
Cottage pie (in a care home as I was visiting my Dad)
Chicken burger in a bun with sliced gherkins and burger relish, homemade oven chips and salad
A copious amount of wine
3 cherry jaffa cakes

My plan fot today is

B- chocolate breand and butter pudding (eaten. was lovely).
L- banana
D- baked salmon with leftover rasttatouille.
No wine. I have just signed up for a 100 day AF challenge. :)

Yesterday I had:

B - bacon, egg, tomato, mushroom and cheese muffins

L - an Aldi rice pot thing which wasn’t very nice

D - bbq at my sister’s house. Had a burger and a jacket potato with salad.

Today’s plan is:

B - banana, apple, nectarine, grapes and yoghurt

L - bacon, egg, mushrooms and hash brown on a wrap

D - roast chicken, potatoes, veg and gravy

I’ll be trying not to snack again today too.

My dinner plan changed. I am blitzing the ratattouille into a sauce and making vegetable pasta bake.

Must get off my butt and do it!

Lazy day today.

B - muesli, flaxseed, raspberries, yoghurt
Handful of grapes
L - smoked mackerel and beetroot salad
Slice of apple cake
D - Mediterranean-style fish stew and walnut bread
May have another slice of walnut bread later, toasted, with lemon curd

I had a Brie and Bacon panini for lunch 🤤

Debating over chicken and mushroom risotto (can I be bothered?) Or just ham egg and chips for dinner.

B: slice of toast with hazelnut Butter, and an apple
Mid morning: scoffed some granola I made for the first time (it's delicious)
L: carrot and coriander soup, 1 cracker with brie cheese and chutney
Mid afternoon: olives and half a banana
D: slow cooker chicken tikka masala and rice

Later, I'll be having some natural yoghurt with some raspberries and a fig.

L - leftover pasta from last night.

Snack - some pretzels, gherkins and a babybel. Also a Fibre One brownie.

D - roast chicken

About to have a tea and a little Cadbury bar.

My lurgy has worsened, I never usually lose my appetite when I'm ill, but today I have!

Slice wholemeal toast with marmite
Full fat greek yoghurt with some berries
2 mini twisters
A pot of cold custard

I'm so sad! I'm going to be a bottomless pit for the week ahead!

Brunch - an “American breakfast” out. Consisted of 2 sausages, 2 eggs, 2 hash browns, 4 pancakes, streaky bacon and maple syrup with coffee x 2 and fresh orange. Not usually one to moan about food but it was rubbish!

Dinner - a slice of raspberry jam on toast and a jam tart.

Snacks - a banana and an apple.

D - going out for sushi, will probably have a beer or two as well

L: Leftover roasted vegetables, chicken breast and spicy rice then some fruit

Had a yoghurt and a Nakd bar just there. Not sure I'll bother with dinner, I've got a lot on this evening.

Breakfast : water with lemon, and a tea, some yeo valley natural yoghurt, slice of seeded toast and butter.

Lunch: lettuce, cucumber, cherry Toms, yellow pepper with some low fat dressing and a salmon fillet I cooked last night.
Satsuma.

Snacks: slice of birthday cake, 4 rich tea biscuits. Graze cocoa and orange superfood oat bites - which taste incredible BTW. Satsuma

Gonna make chicken stir fry for tea with loads of veg.

After listing my snacks I can clearly see why I can't lose weight 🤣🤔😂😂😂

B: Fruit and Fibre with banana and blueberries, bagel with Marmite, black coffee
L: fried tomatoes and chorizo, toast
About to have meat lasagne with steamed courgette, mange tous and baby corn

L: lentil and bacon soup, toast, cheese
An apple
D: spaghetti Bolognese with salad and a small glass of red

Might have some dark chocolate later.

L - lentil and ricotta salad with courgette, rocket, red pepper, chargrilled pepper from a jar, za’atar and pomegranate molasses. It was a bit dull, so I didn’t finish it. Needed a lot more za’atar. Or lemon zest. Something else, anyway!
Snack - two homemade energy balls (peanut butter and cocoa flavour)
D - fish stew, two slices of walnut bread with butter on one slice, bowl of red grapes
