Shiny new thread, continuing from here

A diary thread for our daily meals, to record, share, glean menu inspiration and chat, but no judging each other’s food choices.

B - a bowl of oats, pumpkin seeds, raisins, milk, coconut yoghurt (first time I’ve tried coconut yoghurt, did not like it)
L - mixed salad with two boiled eggs, some delicious raw milk fontina cheese, rosemary crackers; square of plain chocolate
D - some raw carrot and red pepper sticks with a little bit of hummus and a few olives; tofu seaweed cake thing with potato wedges, peas and pesto; a square of plain chocolate
Snack - a cardamom bun

One and a half apples. 2 cups of milk. A few cheese crumbs left over from my daughters sandwich earlier.

Going to have sausages ×2 with 4 boiled new potatoes and a portion of vegetables for dinner.

B: porridge with mixed berries, flaked almonds and honey, tea X2
L: vegetable soup, cheese and chutney sandwich, pancake
D: few slices of oven four cheese pizza, salad.

I've got some chocolate biscuits or dark chocolate with my name on it later

Awful diet today. A couple of mini chocolate weetabix and a brew this morning (woke up late). Wetherspoon's pizza and a couple of chips and a diet pepsi for lunch. A banana and a handful of Roses with a brew for a snack this evening as I wasn't really hungry.

The banana was a token, as I knew today was awful haha.

(Plus feeling bad because I thought I'd lost weight but then moved the scales to another part of the kitchen - where I normally weigh myself - and I haven't. I guess the uneven floor makes a difference).

L- chicken salad sandwich, packet french fries
S- apple, pop chips
D- fish pie ready meal and runner beans (I never get to have fish pie as my OH hates fish, but he is out on the beers so hopefully won't notice the smell when he gets home!)
S- undecided, I have a four finger kitkat calling my name, and maybe some ice cream

L - slice of sourdough with half an avocado and a poached egg
Maple and pecan pastry
D - homemade pizza, sweet corn, mixed salad
Dark chocolate with orange and almond
Digestive biscuit
Lots of decaf tea and coffee. Water.

S - cinnamon and raisin bagel thin with butter, apple
D - salmon, roast potatoes, broccoli

Need more fruit and veg tomorrow.

Brunch: corned beef and cauliflower hash with fried eggs; coffee and cream

Snack: a few slices of salami and a couple of pieces of dark chocolate

Dinner: Heck sausages with celeriac and tenderstem broccoli

Didn't do breakfast today as OH was hungover and I met friends for coffee but it was too early for me to fancy food on a weekend!

L- wetherspoons jacket potato with 5 bean chilli
S- mini cheddars, banana
D- roast chicken, garlic roast potatoes done in the actifry, yorkshire pudding, vegetables, loads of gravy
S- 2 crumpets with rhubarb and vanilla jam, white chocolate magnum.

Odd day.

Cup of tea and a white twix (single)
L- Cajun chicken wrap and a few chips
Another cup of tea, handful of m&ms
D- Southern fried chicken w/ herby pototoes, broccoli, carrots, sweet corn and gravy

Diet starts tomorrow Grin

B: granola with raspberries, blueberries and yoghurt, toast and marmite, black coffee, swig of oj.
Mid-morning: cappuccino.
L: left-over stir-fry veg and noodles, couple of slices of Spanish charcuterie. Tea and a brownie (ok two brownies, but very small ones)
Supper: roast beef, roasted carrots, potatoes and parsnips, cabbage, gravy. Black coffee and another brownie.

B - handful of blueberries and walnuts, followed an hour or so later by a veggie cooked breakfast: two Cauldron sausages, scrambled eggs on toast, a portobello mushroom, spinach and beetroot
L - didn’t really have lunch - had a Pret turmeric latte, a square of plain chocolate and later on a small box of fontina, walnuts, radish and a few grapes
D - poached salmon, potato salad, beetroot and apple salad, raw pak choi and cucumber
Quite a lot of chocolate shared with DP while watching a film

Still full of cold so wanted comfort food.

B: small bowl of ready break with banana, slice of toast with blackcurrant jam, tea
L: boiled egg and toast, apple, banana bread
Mid afternoon: a Clementine
D: scampi, homemade chips, peas & broccoli

Just had some crackers with Wensleydale cheese and some dark chocolate

Yesterday:
B - granola, Greek yogurt, plums baked with stem ginger and a bit of the syrup from the jar; toasted muffin with butter
S - cappuccino and biscotti, apple
L - nothing, as had early dinner
D - chicken and bacon casserole with carrots, leeks and potatoes and dumpling, and broccoli.

Have got the leftovers for lunch today and they're already calling me (but I think I should wait until at least 12pm!!).

L - leek and potato soup with crusty bread.
For dinner tonight we are having veggie stew with mash veg and dumplings.

B - muesli, flaxseed, kiwi, yoghurt
L - squash and lentil soup; three oatcakes; grapes
D - spinach and ricotta tortellini with pesto, broccoli, Parmesan and salad leaves
Snacks - an apple, couple of small wedges of pineapple, a strawberry, and an oat molasses cookie when they’re out of the oven and have cooled down. I’ve licked the spoon too Grin

Dinner was home made Cheese pizza drizzled in loads of chilli oil. 1 x glass of wine

L: pasta salad with tuna, pesto, olives, broccoli, green beans and mixed peppers. Pistachios and natural yoghurt.
D: cheese & tomato risotto, garlic bread, salad.

Supper: aubergine, spinach and chickpea curry, roasted spicy cauliflower, brown rice, naan, yoghurt, lime pickle (all very yum). Brownie, tea.
