If a snap election is called, who will you vote for?

This will be such a difficult election, as I reckon almost everyone will vote tactically.

I am a remainer, and was a traditional Labour voter, though that doesn’t feel like home any more.

I also voted no, but now find myself thinking independence might not be the worst option any more.

I will not vote for Johnston.
I like Jo Swinson, but her party will never be big enough to make a big difference.
Corbyn seems a principled man, but he is too far left for me and he’s not a leader - he is a divisive character.
Farage represents all I hate in politics.

I will be voting SNP,, for the first time in my life.

I honestly don't know. It will be interesting here in Scotland as it won't just be about brexit. It will be about independence
I. Certainly won't vote snp, and I can't stand corbyn, not sure who that leaves up here

BoogleMcGroogle · 03/09/2019 06:58

Lib Dem. A turnip with a blue rosette would get elected here ( and would be preferable to the current holder of the office). However, the Lib Dems have a decent chance of taking our neighbouring constituency, and I'll try to help with that campaign.

BunchMunch · 03/09/2019 06:59

Conservative.

I'm interested to see how this pans out - a tory win would seemingly indicate the public still want Brexit. If its another hung parliament then the country is still split. I think BXP may do well in labour leave areas.

But who knows?

Lib Dem.

Morgan12 · 03/09/2019 07:01

SNP always now.

How anyone could vote for Tory after all this I'll never know. Makes me want away from England even more.

Bwekfusth · 03/09/2019 07:02

Labour. People may say JC is too far left and not a leader, but it is preferable to the fucking horrendous Tory party. Look at all they've achieved so far, I'm really enjoying the NHS being abolished.

MadisonAvenue · 03/09/2019 07:02

Conservative

soulrunner · 03/09/2019 07:04

Green in as much as I can’t face voting for any of the others.

Megan2018 · 03/09/2019 07:04

Conservative

PostNotInHaste · 03/09/2019 07:05

I want our ERG MP out so will vote tactically. Here that means Lib Dem as it was Lib Dem pre 2015.

Feel politically homeless for various reasons but this is the biggest crisis in my lifetime and I can not countenance not voting in these circumstances. I think all bets are off at the moment and we will see a lot of nose holding and people voting in unexpected ways when it comes down to it but time will tell.

ElizabethMainwaring · 03/09/2019 07:06

Lib Dem

randomsabreuse · 03/09/2019 07:06

Lib Dem. Only clear remain party in my constituency. Would have considered Plaid Cymry or SNP if I lived in relevant parts of the UK.

PostNotInHaste · 03/09/2019 07:07

But it will absolutely be an election of the least bad choice for many people which is a very sorry state of affairs to put it mildly.

SimonJT · 03/09/2019 07:07

I wouldn’t never vote conservative, as a party they wish people like me didn’t exist and tried to actively teach that to children for years.

I’m in a labour area, I have never been able to vote during a general election so now I can I would vote labour.

I can’t see enough people here switching to libdem to give them a majority, but I know conservative will never get in here.

obligations · 03/09/2019 07:07

Not for anyone in the current government who have lied, lied and lied again, violated democratic institutions, fouled the agora and are willfully driving the country into the biggest crisis since the Second World War where only the very very rich disaster capitalists stand to gain. I'd vote for whatever candidate will do everything in their power to stop the madness.

CherryPlum · 03/09/2019 07:07

Green as they are all I can really believe in any more

ZenNudist · 03/09/2019 07:08

I will choose based on manifesto between lib dem and Labour but my seat is safe Labour and i lile the MP.

MarchionessOfCholmondeley · 03/09/2019 07:08

Lib Dem. I live in a traditionally tory safe seat. However, lib dems did unseat some tory stalwarts at the recent local elections, so there is a slight chance of my vote counting.

Egghead68 · 03/09/2019 07:08

I will vote tactically which here means Labour.

Kanga83 · 03/09/2019 07:11

I'm a member of the Green Party, but tactically probably Liberal Democrat's. Never would I vote for Tory or labour with their leaders.

BambooBoobam · 03/09/2019 07:11

Lib Dem here

Twooter · 03/09/2019 07:12

Never vote for SNP if you don’t want independence-far too risky. I reckon the lindens will do well in Scotland as the remainer non independent party, even if they have been an also-rsn up to now. If you vote SNP you will inadvertently give them a mandate to go for indyref 2.

MeanMrMustardSeed · 03/09/2019 07:13

Conservative.

Hermanhessescat · 03/09/2019 07:15

Seriously how can anyone not vote at all or vote tory after the last 10 years ?

SomethingNastyInTheBallPool · 03/09/2019 07:16

Probably Labour. My heart says Lib-Dem but we’re in a Tory seat that nearly went Labour last time, and the Lab candidate seems good, so if we can just give it that final push...
