Think I’m pregnant again! :(

I’m really panicking, I’m a single mum to 9 month old. I had unprotected sex March this year and had morning after pill. It was very complicated and confusing upsetting time for me. (Please don’t judge)

I look pregnant again, I don’t feel differently. But I’m just connecting things and having a massive panic. I’ve drank gone out and lived life. I feel so stupid I put myself into the situation but I was so lonely. I really liked the person and thought we would be more, known him years. (He isn’t father to my dd)

I’m literally scared witless. I love my dd but I do not want another child! I am only now getting my life together!

I feel in my waters that it will be twins. I have the sight. Good luck OP!

sadkoala · 27/08/2019 11:20

Honestly i hope you get the support you need op.

Please dont delay things and stop the speculation as its starting to sound a little dramatic. See a GP and take a test. Decide what you would like to happen next depending on the outcome.
And do follow through with your promise to address your drinking.

Best of luck.

It was 1am and I’m single parent with a baby, couldn’t get a test.

I’ve also just been to a Tesco and they’re 10.95 I’m not happy to pay that to get news good or bad as I’m very low on funds and that’s meal plans, and bulk cooking plans out. The doctor advised me to home test properly for the reasons stated. A friend is on her way here now with £1 test, something I can afford and I shall test soon. I’m feeling more positive about it as the doctor did also feel my tummy and he couldn’t feel anything. My mum knew what she was feeling for too, also at 5/6 months you can feel things.

Only thing that worries me is if the baby is measuring really small, it could have been missed. And I was sure I felt movements.

I will know soon 😢🤞🏻

So you saw a Gp
And they didn't suggest a blood test or anything
Just sent you on your way potentially several months pregnant
Okay
I'm with basket

DM1209 · 27/08/2019 12:17

The GP didn't do a dip test?

Didn't send you on to the hospital for a scan?

And just sent you home?

Riiiiiight.

FelixFelicis6 · 27/08/2019 12:20

Why didn’t your doctor do a test? Did you ask?

adaline · 27/08/2019 12:20

Pretty sure a GP would have done either a urine test or a blood test if you'd told them what you suspected here.

Woodlandwitch · 27/08/2019 12:23

When I went to the doctors thinking I might be pregnant, she laid me down on the bed and felt my tummy and estimates from that that I was 17-20 weeks pregnant. ( I wasn’t showing, didn’t have any symptoms, and thought I must have been 5-6 weeks pregnant)

If you were that far along, even without a bump, it would be able to be felt by the doctor

Woodlandwitch · 27/08/2019 12:23

She didn’t bother doing a urine or blood test to confirm

HotChocolateLover · 27/08/2019 12:28

God I hate threads like this.

TooGood2BeFalse · 27/08/2019 12:33

Did you actually explain your concerns to the GP?It sounds odd no blood or urine test, but I'm not here to bully.Perhaps you didn't mention it and you're too nervous to say, or maybe they thought it unlikely due to MAP and implant.

SparklyMagpie · 27/08/2019 12:34

@HotChocolateLover so do i

NoSauce · 27/08/2019 12:35

It’s probably too many kebabs.

TooGood2BeFalse · 27/08/2019 12:38

If her mum had to remind her that she'd had the implant, I'm guessing OP is either pretty young or pretty vulnerable.So..

QueenOfPain · 27/08/2019 12:38

Why do a test tomorrow? Do one today, shops are open right now and some probably will be for the entire 24hr period until tomorrow, and then you can get a grip on all this.

ghostyslovesheets · 27/08/2019 12:39

I wonder what the odds are that the next post is a blurry pee stick with 'is it a line?'

Totototoro · 27/08/2019 12:41

Wow. What a bunch of nasty women.

Never heart of the word support?

Why are you all on a parenting site if the first thing you do is try to kick a young single mother whilst she is down.

Absolutely charming.

RiddleyW · 27/08/2019 12:43

I went to the GP thinking I might be pregnant once and he sent me away to test at home. So that doesn’t sound unlikely to me.

The rest who knows?

Totototoro · 27/08/2019 12:44

Yes. I told my GP of 2 possible pregnancies and they told me to do a home test and come back if positive.

Also when I've gone and said I was pregnant they have never confirmed with their own test. Just referred me.

Jellybeansincognito · 27/08/2019 12:46

Good luck with the test!

NoSauce · 27/08/2019 12:46

Totototoro I can’t actually see your support of the OP 🤔

JoxerGoesToStuttgart · 27/08/2019 12:49

Yes my last pregnancy I didn’t even get my bum on the seat, never mind a test done at the GP. I walked in and as I was doing so he said “what’s the problem?” I said “I think I’m pregn...” he said “ok, i’ll Send a referral to X hospital. You’ll get a letter with an appointment” bum not even down! Grin

Totototoro · 27/08/2019 12:50

I've PMd her.

And I'm not putting her down publicly.

AllTheWhoresOfMalta · 27/08/2019 12:55

You can’t be pregnant- at that gestation it would be easily feelable for the GP.

ElizaDee · 27/08/2019 13:04

Implant and PCOS? Plus loads of nights out?

I'm betting you're gonna be fine OP.
