What's happening in your house right now ?

I've been up since 5 with our puppy. She's bang out now and me and youngest dd are chilling, she's watching YouTube and I'm having some marmalade on toast.
Going to get her ready in an hour for a day at her friends then when DH gets up I might go back to bed for an hour or sit in the garden with my book.
What's everyone else up to ?

Everyone is asleep apart from me and it is blissful. Having some valerian root tea before I go to bed.

Sitting in a cold bath. My house is ridiculously hot, I'm 36weeks pregnant and look like a sweaty red faced hippo. Dd is asleep and ds is resisting sleep but I've left dh to deal with him, I'm shattered after hosting a BBQ today for a lot of his family (without wanting to sound like an antisocial bastard I really could have done without it) just wanted to lie around in my pants in front of a fan all day!

I've just got up. I had a crap night's sleep last night shook went to bed after the dc but their "quiet reading" was really noisy and woke me up so I've come downstairs and had some cheese on toast.

The most active thing I've done all day is go to tesco for some ice-cream and bread.

Dh and the neighbour did the gardens and the hedges whilst I made sandwiches for dinner. Dh then cooked our tea whilst I was lounging in the summer house and the dc were playing out on their scooters and bikes in the street until they had a million arguments and scrapes and fallings out so we brought them in. They have end-of-summer-holiday-itis and I can't wait for themb to go back to school in just 9 days' time!

I'm led on the bed with the fan on 😅 waiting for DH to return from work

I’m in bedroom drying my hair (working at 7am tomorrow). DH also in bedroom messing with his phone.
DS2 in his room doing whatever he does in there.
DS1 away for weekend with girlfriend.

On holiday in our holiday home in Cornwall. Dragged DD out for a long walk this morning, then let her back on the iPad to watch you tube. Then dragged her back out to sit on the front and do some colouring with her. Came back and helped my mum cook roast dinner, then my cousin and her DD came round and we had a board game night - lots of fun!

In bed, too hot, craving expensive fruits & juices because of the weather.

DP is asleep on the sofa very sunburnt despite me telling him to wear suncream after a long day of playing golf, he fell asleep complaining that he's got such a hard day tomorrow playing golf AGAIN and he doesn't know how he'll manage it.

Pup is asleep on the hall floor as it's coolest there.

Drinking wine and watching the Foo Fighters at Reading on iPlayer. 😀

Am sat on my bed with 3 of my kids drawing pictures. They can't sleep because of the heat so we are all drawing Godzilla.

We've had family and friends over for a bbq so have just crashed in front of the tv for a bit after having spent an hour washing up and tidying like grown ups so we don't have to do it in the morning.
Much as I Iove my family, they use a lot of crockery.

Just contemplating going to bed here, fortunately we have a very effective fan which goes at the end of the bed as it's so bloody hot!

We've been to the beach, paddling pool in the garden and bike ride to the beer garden today, so everybody else is in bed including DH who is working early tomorrow.

Best time of the day. H still in bed. I'm sat with a cup of tea on the sofa with two dogs, watching the news and browsing on my phone.
Food shop, dog walk and a mooch round the house today. Easy day.

Absolutely nothing. I'm sat with a coffee and dh and two toddlers are still in bed. I'm enjoying the peace

It's 6am. The 18 year old cat woke me to say she's hungry. Hangry is more accurato.
She"said decided she doesn't think like the eye watering lying expensive food I bought her so I have had to grate mature cheddar on it
She's eating it now so I'm going back to bed.

I'm irritated with my ex. Have cleaned up after and fed the dogs, now making a cup of tea and going watch something on prime while doing some soothing painting. Promised DD we'd toast marshmallows on a real fire today...

Up and ready for work, OH in bed, DD in bed, DS slept out. Dogs are playing in the garden. Lovely and peaceful, just the ticking of the clock.

Having a coffee, DH in bed I'm going to walk D Dog who's currently snoring next to DH.

They rule our lives maddiemookins lol.

Hoovering while DD has breakfast then a mad dash to any shop that is open because I forgot I was hosting sister and her fam for breakfast this morning!

Got woken by my son staggering through the door at approx 6am. Must of been a good night not jealous much so washing on the line, washing in machine. Sat on my 2nd coffee. I'm doing the garden today. Talk the dog for a run and partner doing some diy

After breakfast.
Playing on the internet.
Listening to this.

I'm in bed with a cup of tea. DCat is purring next to me.
Got back from holiday yesterday so today will be tackling large quantities of washing and tidying the house.

Dh is working from home - not a bank holiday for him (works for overseas company)
Dc2 talking to friends and playing game on pc
Dc1 watching Netflix

DS got us up at the arse crack of dawn so we're all downstairs in the living room.
Baby DD is having a feed and trying unsuccessfully to fall asleep.
DH is kipping on the end of the sofa and annoying me hugely by doing absolutely nothing.
DS is singing to himself while playing with something on the floor but his voice sounds like something from a film about demonic possession so that's nice.
I've woken up with a headache and a very bad mood so am sat grumping on the sofa having already done breakfast for DS, put on a wash, had a coffee and searched in vain for the tv remote.
Soon I will be shouting asking people to get showers and get dressed so we can go out to a local dinosaur park or we'll never get there!
