What's happening in your house right now ?

I've been up since 5 with our puppy. She's bang out now and me and youngest dd are chilling, she's watching YouTube and I'm having some marmalade on toast.
Going to get her ready in an hour for a day at her friends then when DH gets up I might go back to bed for an hour or sit in the garden with my book.
What's everyone else up to ?

Very slow start here as DH & I were woken at 4am by the smell of smoke - established it was not in the house but unsettled & took a while to go back to sleep. We could see some blue lights in the distance so guessed it was a fire somewhere. Woke later to hear the sad & devastating news that our local cricket clubhouse (which also houses a pre-school) burnt down in the early hours

Meanwhile, planning a relaxed day including making coro chicken, a walk this afternoon, & reading my book in the sunny garden. But first the treadmill for me. DS is playing Minecraft, DH is doing a bit of work before lunch.

DH is gardening. Has been ably supervised by DDog who is now relaxing and cooling down in the lounge with me while I drink coffee and watch Kavanagh QC. Off to do food shop later and then onto a family bbq later.

Husband working in his study, daughter on phone, son in bed, dog can't find a cool place to sleep, I'm killing time on here til we go out for Sunday lunch, which I regret booking as it's so hot.

Spent last 45 mins finding the kids pool in the garage and cleaning it out, it's now filling and I'm sweating buckets. Sat down for 5 mins with a cold drink while kids chill in the shade, asking every 2 minutes, can we get in yet? It takes HOURS to fill! Planning on jumping in it headfirst myself!

Still in bed! Bliss. Been awake since 9am but DH bought he breakfast in bed as I’ve been reading and surfing the net since then.
Suppose I’ll get myself up soon and do some shopping and housework....

I assume Ds2 is still in bed as he didnt get in until 05.30 this morning.
I know the time because he had forgotten his door key and woke us up!!😫

Dd is still in bed on her iPad , dog is slumped on his bed in front of a fan , dh is getting ready to go to my sisters to do her garden for her ( he was there all day yesterday taking down a shed and putting it in a skip ) and I’m watching cricket on Sky .

I’m in bed watching Netflix, was up at 5 taking a cold shower because I got bitten 1000x yesterday and now I’m itchy and swollen :( waiting for the piriton to kick in and then I really need to do some washing.

Sprawled on my bed ‘drying off’ post shower. Dp is stripping wallpaper next door.
Dd1 is having a shower.
Ds is whizzing round the garden with his water pistol.
I’ve got the windows open and there’s a lovely breeze coming in.
Need to find some motivation to get up and put some washing on etc, we are all heading to a family bbq this afternoon picking up dd2 from her friends house on the way.
So lovely to have nice weather!

Sitting here close to tears after speaking to eldest son on the phone when he says he can’t stand the way my DP controls me and that I’ve always been a people pleaser and should stand up for myself, the sad part is I didn’t realise it was happening

Have had an hour and a half in the jungle which is our garden, trying to make it tidier. Now too bloody hot so off for a swim. Probs a bit more gardening when I get back, then lazing about in the sunshine. The joys of having grown up dcs!

Have dropped OH and DS at the train station and they are probably in London now, and heading to Tottenham

I'm on Dunelm waiting for DS1, and have the lovely task of looking for a washing machine for him

I am at work and DH will do bugger all with the children all day as always, so I bet everyone is in their own room on their different electronic devices, although DD might be reading.

And when I get home after a 13 hour shift he will have cooked everyone a ready meal so there will be nothing for me to eat.

Packing. Removals are due at 9am tomorrow. Luckily they will pack the majority. International move so all the furniture needs wrapping as well.

I've been up since 7am when dd got up for work. Done some sorting and tidying, 2 loads of washing on the line, mowed the lawn and cleaned the bathrooms. Just about to have a shower before having lunch with a friend then have a 4 hour drive this evening to see family.

Ive just tidied the house, made the beds and put a wash on.
I'm now flopped on the sofa trying to motivate myself to start packing for holiday on Tuesday but I'm a bit hungover and tired.

Been out picking blackberries this morning, now cooking pasta for me and DD. DS on Xbox and will emerge and sort out his own lunch at some point. DH walking the dog. Need to do a bit of tidying up this afternoon, plus thinking of booking a couple of nights at a campsite next weekend before the DC go back to school.

I’ve just got back from taking dd’s to the cinema and as I walked in dh has turned the girls round and they have just walked back out of the front door (I can hear them getting in the car as I type), they’re going visiting SIL and dropping the youngest at MIL’s for a sleepover.

I’m now sitting on the sofa in peace and quiet. Ds(18) is upstairs in his bedroom probably sleeping.

DDs are eating lunch, I am waiting for the washing machine to finish its third load so I can hang stuff out. We got back from holiday yesterday and 4 of us produced a lot of laundry in a week. I have run out of clothes pegs but it's drying quick enough to bring in and put another load out. DH has gone to do his hobby that he has missed during the week away. Cats are asleep on beds.

Baby just starting 2nd nap, DS and DH returning from soft play party this morning. Just about to have a picky lunch

I’m in the garden sat in the shade watching DH and DC playing badminton (!) getting hotter by the second.

Sitting out in the glorious sunshine with (another) glass of wine. Dds are sorting themselves out with pizza. DH finished watching cricket, now watching footy.

Dd is in her room in front of her fan watching Big Bang theory. DS is eating pasta in a tent in the living room watching you tube. I'm sat on sofa watching a dodgy rom com drinking a cold cider trying not to moan about being too hot!!

Dcat - a sleeping blob on the shelf. He found a new box.
DS is on his PC gaming - Star Trek, I think.
DD will get a graphics tablet (voc.?) as a reward for working very hard (ADHD+dyscalculia) and securing a place at the HU - so she is on the WACOM website.
DH is working again and I am writing an inventory of letters while listening to old episodes of Time Team.

It's quiet everyone is in bed, I'm having a quiet cup of tea.
