What has MN put you off?

MN has taught me so much but I no longer want to consider a Hot Tub ever since someone on here described it as clamydia soup. Just seen an advert for one and felt a bit sick. Used to love the idea.

And an 'outdoor sex pond', don't forget!

Men.
Every thread in relationships reinforces my decision to be a cat lady.

Grumpbum123 · 11/08/2019 12:34

Hot tubs and kfc

Fuma · 11/08/2019 12:38

And cohabitation with a partner. (Something I have previously rather enjoyed ...)

AwdBovril · 11/08/2019 12:41

Hot tubs
Loo brushes
KFC - although I've also heard things about them from a RL source.

Change 'cat' to 'rabbit', and I'm with you! Why do people have relationships?! So much stress and misery.

AwdBovril · 11/08/2019 12:43

OLD, definitely. Don't know if I got lucky with DH (he's mostly lovely) or if the world of dating has really changed so much since we met.

lazylinguist · 11/08/2019 12:44

Men. I'm happily married and I know there are other decent men out there, but the Relationships board has convinced me they are a much rarer breed than I thought. If I found myself single for whatever unfortunate reason, I would stay that way.

Living with a man

Toilet brushes

Answering my phone immediately
Using my bathtowel more than once - you must change your towels every day.
Actual real-life talking on the phone - apparently being happy to actually talk instead of texting is a big no-no.

@ShirleyPhallus I wouldn't dare ... coward that I am

Oh, and what's the deal with the towels thing ? (or am I better not knowing?)

AvengerDanvers95 · 11/08/2019 13:13

Meat, shower gel and hand wash, porn, tampons, Brexit, the Tories (well I was never fond of either of those but it has consolidated my feelings), people in general. It has also encouraged to wash sheets and towels a lot more often than I would have done before.

I'm still ok with hot tubs.
