What has MN put you off?

MN has taught me so much but I no longer want to consider a Hot Tub ever since someone on here described it as clamydia soup. Just seen an advert for one and felt a bit sick. Used to love the idea.

Colouring hair at home.

my bathroom is the same, absolutely tiny. I hang my towels over the doors after we use them. Its done nothing but rain here all summer. I do that in winter too, with all my washing. Not got a tumble dryer.

Been raining here a lot too. I think consistently everyday for a week now. Thunder too.

Dairy

Wow thanks everyone for your responses. I'm sorry I committed the sin of posting and not responding. Trying to keep myself amused whilst waiting for my daughter than no power for the rest of the day out! Anyway ( towel diversion aside) I loved your responses esp penis beaker which I had forgotten and now cant look at that bedside glass the same again.

Yup, well, climate change will do that. I do think sadly that there's every chance we could live to see our children and grandchildren suffer and potentially even die as a result of climate change, if we don't act now.

Aaaargh if your youngest child goes outside and is generally OK after going outside, this may be a sign that you can safely hang towels outside too. If she ever comes into contact with people outside her immediate family, she's probably touching people who have dried themselves on towels that aren't freshly laundered.

Have you sought advice from the hospital about whether you need to be this rigorous with towel washing etc?

Well, she is immune suppressed and being ill can land her in hospital, People outside don't tend to touch her but I would ask that they don't. She went to daycare with other children but I just make sure I keep our home clean to compensate. I know she will be exposed to a lot but why make it more in our own home? Her health comes first, also, damp around the house with the amount of washing I do wouldn't be good for her. Maybe I seem over the top but I'm not that bad, I do expose her to the world I just don't think damp towels hanging around everywhere is good for her and she wears everything once before washing (but she is also still messy so I'd do that regardless.)

I'm glad I'm no longer of childbearing age, because I'd now be terrified of having a boy.
The odds of a son's wife actually tolerating me, let alone liking me, seem vanishingly small.

Hahaha

I saw your thread title and came on to say hot tubs and chlamydia soup. Great minds think alike. Or fools never differ.
