I'm just watching a Queen documentary on tv.

Many songs move me, but no single lyric breaks my heart like "I sometimes wish I'd never been born at all" . The utter, desolate sadness of that simple statement, socks me every time I hear it.

Reminds me of struggling to conceive and every time we had an appointment with the docs or had some sort of procedure I would always say this is getting us 'one step closer'. When you're struggling to conceive a much wanted child you die a little bit every day waiting for them.

All of the lyrics to 'How Long Will I Love You' by Ellie Goulding. Was playing in the car when we were driving back from my 12-week scan. I bawled my eyes out and still makes me cry to this day 5 years later!

I lost my mum in a really horrific way but while she was alive she had serious alcohol issues (didn't die from this) and I tried so hard to fix her but wasn't able to. Heard this on the day of her funeral...
