I’m staying in and getting loads of washing done

Working, although thankfully from home... my lovely usually-very-cold old house is already 26.5 degrees, though. I'm hoping some clients will cancel video calls to make the most of the sun, so I can take some clothes off!

Slowly dying.

32 weeks pregnant. 4yo and 2yo at home. I’ve filled their pool so will chuck them outside in a bit before it gets too hot later this afternoon

Nothing.

Taking the kids to the cinema later. Looking forward to the air con!

Going to the beach not my choice!

Sitting very still in front of the fan, and getting to the bottom of the laundry basket amazingly fast!

Staying in getting more and more frustrated as still have no water since storm on Tuesday night 👎

Working from home but struggling. The upstairs of my house was 29.6c when we got up this morning. No idea how we are going to get to sleep tonight....

Not much - it's not a working day, so I've been dropping at home taking a lackadaisical approach to various chores.

I've also been titting about on MN, but having been put firmly back in my box for a couple of posts that I misjudged (totally inadvertently, and I really regret the impact), I probably need a break

Sitting in the haar feeling frustrated that everywhere else in the country has beautiful sunshine and hot temperatures and us on the east coast have thick fog and about 15C. Bah humbug.

Its truly the worst thing about living on the east coast

At work at the moment but heading home in 2 hours to pack for camping tomorrow.

Feeling thankful we live in a bungalow that doesn’t get much light! Have banned all children from going outside and trying to stay as still as possible.

May venture out later for lunch!

Going to the beach this afternoon. I love the heat but absolutely dreading work later. It's due to be 33°c when I go in & it's cleaning day so I'm praying not to be asked to clean the windows.

Lying on the bed with my little dog. Both windows open and fan on full blast - absolute heaven to be honest!

Staying inside with all windows shut and fans on. So much cooler inside then out. I don't know how people can go outside unless they have too when it's this hot

Fife. It was fine this morning, 20C and sunny, it's just rolled in since 10am

taking my DC to the local pool - 40 mins of cool bliss in the water! (it may or may not be the 3rd day in a row that i have done this...)

Thinking about applying for a new job - is it worth making things at home with the dc more complicated for more job satisfaction?

As little as I can get away with! I'm not doing the laundry until later; that way I can put it to dry in the bedroom with the fan blowing on it and will hopefully cool the air down a little.
We're having sandwiches for dinner because I cba to cook.
The problem is that my dc are badgering me to go for a walk to the duck pond. I'm not going for a walk down the street in this weather!

Working....... and the office air con is broken.

Have meetings and events that require me to be physically in the office today as well.

I am not enjoying it.

My poor daughter is rehearsing all day for a musical tomorrow, started at 9 and finishes at 4.30, then has to walk half a mile for the bus in 30+ heat...
