I'm tempted to say Devon but there's so many wonderful places out there and so many I haven't visited. I love Yorkshire too. What's your nomination?

Dorset, but I’m biased as I live here but wherever I am in the world I love coming home.

Theghosttrain · 16/07/2019 18:11

We're in the lucky position of being able to move anywhere we fancy next year. N Yorkshire and Northumberland top of our list, although we are escaping from a very touristy area and am worried that N Yorks may have the same issues. Those two are definitely my favourites though.

Dec2019mumtobe · 16/07/2019 18:12

Yorkshire 😁😁😁

PortiaCastis · 16/07/2019 18:12

Cornwall also biased as I'm born and bred here

happyhillock · 16/07/2019 18:14

The Highlands Loch Ness the scenery is out of this world,

Bridgeofpies · 16/07/2019 18:15

Wow! Think I need to go to Yorkshire and see what all the fuss is about. Have only been to Leeds and York briefly!

I would say Cornwall! It’s magical!

Crinkle77 · 16/07/2019 18:15

Lancashire

DilysPrice · 16/07/2019 18:16

Good shout on Herefordshire though. If you have to pick a county in England and you’re not too fussed about the coast then Herefordshire and Shropshire are the top picks IMO.

Not feeling a lot of Home Counties love.

wizzler · 16/07/2019 18:16

Yorkshire has

Todamhottoday · 16/07/2019 18:18

Northumberland......

Readytogogogo · 16/07/2019 18:18

Northumberland

Bath and North East Somerset. Aka BANES.

I am convinced that if the Thames flooded all the way past Barnes due to climate change and rising sea levels, the capital of the UK would be redesignated to BANES. The whole region would become a metropolis.

It has one thing in common. Rampant house price rises for sure.

origamiunicorn · 16/07/2019 18:19

I'd say Devon, Dorset or Wiltshire. 🥰

Swifey40 · 16/07/2019 18:20

South Somerset!! So beautiful and wonderful people! Close to the beach, close to cities like Bristol and Exeter, close to Dartmoor, the Windwhistles and the Blackdown hills, gorgeous countryside and lovely market towns!

HeronLanyon · 16/07/2019 18:23

Cornwall
Herefordshire
Gloucestershire
Suffolk
Wiltshire.
Northumberland

Warmhandscoldheart · 16/07/2019 18:23

Jojoanna · 16/07/2019 18:23

Nutkin123 · 16/07/2019 18:24

Yorrrrrrkshire

SlatternIsTrying · 16/07/2019 18:24

Antrim

SherlockHolmes · 16/07/2019 18:25

Yorkshire is far too damp and cold!
Norfolk has much drier weather, fantastic beaches and some of the safest towns to live in in the UK.

WoollyMollyMonkey · 16/07/2019 18:26

I love their puddings though.

Norugratsatall · 16/07/2019 18:28

Kent defo. It's the garden of England.

cakesandphotos · 16/07/2019 18:30

Northumberland but I live here so am biased. North Yorkshire is a close second

REllenR · 16/07/2019 18:31

Best for what? I love Cornwall//Yorkshire for holidays but wouldn't want to live there. I like Berkshire/Oxfordshire to live in.

formerbabe · 16/07/2019 18:31

Kent
