This way for Amazon Prime Day 2019 bargains

Hi folks,

Amazon Prime Day is now live. The name is slightly misleading as the event actually lasts until Tuesday 16 July.

For the uninitiated, Prime Day is when Amazon offer Prime members exclusive discounts on all sorts of things.

We know it’s not for everyone but, if you’re hoping to bag a bargain this year, you’ve come to the right place. Let us know what you're looking for and we will do our best to sort the wheat from the chaff and hunt down a good deal. As always, feel free to share any great buys you spot yourself, too.

To get you started here are a few deals we think are particularly good:

Oral-B SmartSeries 6500 CrossAction Electric Toothbrush - was £92.95, now £54.99

6” waterproof Kindle Paperwhite - was £119.99, now £79.99

Amazon Echo Show 5 - was £79.99, now £49.99

90 Finish All in 1 Max Dishwasher Tablets - was £13.20, now £8.99 (not the most exciting but a nice saving)

Apple iPhone XR (64GB) - was £749, now £639]]

40% off selected Lego (including Star Wars, Harry Potter and the Lego Movie 2)

Xbox One S 1TB All Digital Console + Extra Controller + FIFA 19 (Download code) - bundle price £314.97, now £169.99

You do need to be a Prime member to take part and Amazon are offering £20 off a yearly membership until 16 July (£59 instead of £79). There is also a 30-day free trial (sign up here) if you don’t fancy paying for membership but still want access to the deals.

Remember, if you don’t want to pay after the event, you can follow our handy guide on how to cancel Prime.

You can have a gander at any early deals on the Prime Day hub.

We might add a link into your post if we think it would be helpful to other users.

Mumsnet carries some affiliate marketing links, so if you buy something through our posts, we may get a small share of the sale (more details here).

I got £10 off a huge bag of James Wellbeloved cat food which us a 25% saving.

Deal is £10 off when you spend £35 on pet supplies

FrankieGMumsnet · 15/07/2019 13:41

There is currently a KitchenAid stand mixer for £279.99 (was £332.28) with 30% of the stock already claimed. Still expensive but the cheapest we can currently find it.

banskuwansku · 15/07/2019 13:41

I haven't bought anything yet. I am interested in certain Lego sets but none of them was on offer this time.

GloGirl · 15/07/2019 13:52

banskuwansku · 15/07/2019 13:56

I am after Lego city space sets, but they just came out. I might need to wait until Black Friday.

FrankieGMumsnet · 15/07/2019 13:56

@GloGirl there is a Ninjago Legacy Monastery of Spinjitzu Building Kit for £47.99 (was £68.99) but we will keep our eye out if any more become available.

HannahGMumsnet · 15/07/2019 15:32

Thanks @Masketti, good spot!

@TinyMystery we've had a look, and although it's not a Prime Day discount, the BT Digital Audio Baby Monitor 450 Lightshow is down to £34.99 (RRP ££49.99), and it won one of our Mumsnet Best awards last year.

A couple of others we've spotted are the Motorola Digital Video Baby Monitor for £40.13 (was £69.99), and the Babymoov YOO Feel Video Baby Monitor for £104.99 (was £159.97).

HannahGMumsnet · 15/07/2019 15:46

Any maxi micro scooters deals?

AmyGMumsnet · 15/07/2019 16:13

Hi @TinyTear, there's some money off this Micro Maxi Scooter Blue T-Bar but it's not a specific Prime deal.

Nothing for scooter suitcases I'm afraid, but we'll keep a look out for you!

Soola · 15/07/2019 17:10

I don’t need a bin but it’s so cute!
