I love a food thread and normally pick up some new ideas as well Smile

Breakfast, poached eggs on toast. Lots of coffee

Lunch chicken salad & party rings with the dc

Dinner later will be sausage and butter bean stew & a bottle of red for me and dh

Dessert home made strawberry ice cream ( the ice cream maker has turned out to be a great buy)

B - yoghurt pot, few grapes
L - half a chicken breast, some coleslaw, few pringles
D - chicken stir fry with veg, coconut and lemongrass sauce, noodles. Another yoghurt. J20 drink.

Pret moroccan tagine soup
Packet of pom bears
Spinach and ricotta tortellini and salad

Probably something else later but I'm having a rare not hungry day.

0% yog with berries and seeds, apple and banana

2 crumpets with flora and marmite, packet of breadsticks, 2 crackers

2 egg omelette with prawns, lettuce and a tomato 🍅

L - tuna salad wrap, roasted Mediterranean vegetables, few black olives
S: melon, 3 pringles
D - baked potato with chicken tikka, salad
Just had 2 squares of dark chocolate with caramel

Breakfast: sourdough toast with butter and plum jam plus hot choc at a lovely little cafe
Lunch cheese and lettuce roll
Dinner- veg dumplings, home made brownie and icecream

Sadly lacking in veggies today.

I’m intrigued by the plantain, vampirethriller, it’s not something I know how to cook with although I had fried plantain slices once. They were amazing. The plate had to be pried from my hands Grin

I either bake them in the skin or slice them and put them in stews, casserole etc. I love them fried but sadly am on a diet!

Caribbean food shops or market stalls should have them, they're either green or black and yellow, like a big ugly banana. I've got some in the kitchen, I'll post a photoGrin

Breakfast: Oatbix and banana with a coffee.

Lunch: Scrambled egg on sourdough bread.

Dinner: Homemade chicken wraps (chicken breast, lettuce, tomato, peppers, cucumber with perinaise in wholemeal wrap) and chips.

Snacks: Milky Way bar, apple, satsuma and a yoghurt.

My muscles are really sore as I've increased my physical activity, so need to be having more protein really! If I've been to the gym or swimming I'll have oats with almonds and seeds for breakfast and add a snack of peanut butter on toast at somepoint in the day with a protein shake.

Everyone’s meals sound lovely- maybe I’m hungry Grin
B - porridge made with oat milk then had raspberries, ground chia and flax seeds and cinnamon mixed in
Snack - half a banana shared with dd and a peppermint tea
L - mushroom and cheese omelette with 1.5 slices of toast 1/2 went to dd
Hot choc with marshmallows drunk in peace while dd Naples Smile
Some raisins
D - baked salmon with roast potatoes and peas all dipped in lots of salad cream. Soy yogurt for afters.

Fairly worthy today. Yesterday I just had weetabix, sausages and biscuits. Got to keep the body guessing Grin
