I love a food thread and normally pick up some new ideas as well Smile

Breakfast, poached eggs on toast. Lots of coffee

Lunch chicken salad & party rings with the dc

Dinner later will be sausage and butter bean stew & a bottle of red for me and dh

Dessert home made strawberry ice cream ( the ice cream maker has turned out to be a great buy)

B: yoghurt and blueberries

L: homemade chickpea, ginger, coconut and spinach stew. Piece of toast. Two bags of crisps. Handful or three of dolly mixture.

Now: three choc chip Maryland cookies and a got chocolate. Might give dinner a miss as so full from lunch.

No breakfast. 2 fried egg rolls for lunch. Couple of Jaffa Cakes. Home made meatballs for dinner. Have a bag of sweet and salted popcorn for later

A fish finger sandwich for lunch and a McDonald’s Filet of Fish for dinner.

Wholemeal roll with two rashers bacon

Waitrose prawn crystal rolls and a single serve bag pop chips

Ice pop, packet of french fries

Grilled chicken breast, garlic and rosemary potatoes done in the actirfy and mixed greens

Will have a magnum later and some more popchips.

B: slice of bread and boiled egg, black coffee
L: bbq’d Sardines, tabouleh, mashup pea dip thing and a mixed veg salad with tahini sauce. A pimms and two glasses of rose
S: summer pudding and coconut yoghurt. Black coffee, freeze dried okra
D: snacky bits: hummus, rosemary crackers, jalapeño and almond stuff olives, marinated artichoke hearts, tomato and basil salad. A glass of rosé and a glass of elderflower liqueur

Yesterday

Porridge with sultanas and flaked almonds. Black coffee.
6 dried apricots.

Two slices of cheese and tomato on toast, one yellow pepper. A row of 100% cocoa chocolate.

Iranian vegetable and chickpea stew. Half a punnet of strawberries.

Half a bag of kettle chips, bottle of lager, two small g&ts (hair of the dog)

Rice, homemade butter chicken curry, chick pea daal, one plain naan

@NoSquirrels - I’m not on a paleo diet.

Paleo bread ( which is just seeds, nuts and eggs ) is delicious and is Gf ( which I need because of a medical condition ) and LCHF ( which I choose for weight loss and health ).

Thanks Morven! Have googled and see it’s basically just GF bread using nut flours - is that right? Interesting. Still think “Paleo” is pushing it for anything baked! Smile I am very glad I can eat gluten- giving up fresh bread would be a real loss.

Then a Pret cheese and pickle sandwich and a cookie for lunch with water

Am not home yet - possibly some bbq meat with salad and new potato
