Just got bit by a bloody spider 😮😮

Watch it closely. My FIL became very poorly and had to be hospitalised after a spider bite.

Be careful. I got bit by one years ago in the middle of the night and have a scar about the size of a fifty pence piece on my leg. When I first went to the nurse (because it swelled and bloody hurt) she wrapped it in a plastic (cling film?) bandage as she didn't know what it was i became quite unwell with it until I took the wrapping off, after a few appointments another nurse said she was sure it was an infected spider bite, it was awful. I really feel for you OP

I got bitten by a spider. It fucking hurt! But it didn't get infected and my arm didn't fall off (just to reassure you)

Keep an eye on it,I had a very nasty bite ,took 6 weeks and antibiotics for it to settle down!

They sting and burn for a surprising amount of time.

The only time i got bitten by a spider was when i was climbing a tree and must have sat on it. We dont really have any aggressive spiders and nothing that is significantly venomous, so dont let people panic you.
If you have an allergic reaction to it then seek advice, but my advice is to keep the area clean and take anti histamines and dont worry about it. It is not going to be any worse than a wasp sting and probably not as bad as that

I got bitten by a spider on my forearm a couple of years ago. It was so itchy and I've been left with a scar the same size as a 10p. Nasty things.

I’d go to gp. I had to get antibiotics, I took my jeans off the line outside, put them on and felt a sharp burning/sting pulled them down fast and the spider had bit me on the back of my knee. It took ages to heal properly because it kept rubbing every time I walked!

I got bitten by the tiniest spider when I was in bed reading. My hand swelled, looked & felt like a bruise. It was painful for about a week.

I actually did LOL at that Iamthewombat (I've had gin, it makes everything funnier and fuzzier.)

I know a guy that got bitten by a spider and it left a fang behind.

I get ~5cm circular discs from spider bites - though i find they are not as itchy as mossies
