All spiders should be thrashed repeatedly and killed until they’re all dead. Every single one of them

Yes!!!!!! You’re just making another poor family deal with it

bringincrazyback · 04/07/2019 20:11

Eating out/dinner parties are boring and overrated. (On a related note, pubs that don't serve food are better and barbecues are a faff.)
Getting drunk is fun.
Plain speaking/tough love are overused in today's society as an excuse to be hurtful and rude.
Disneyland is one big cliche, and so are holidays to Florida.
Children should only be allowed to scream and run riot in certain places/at certain times.
Tea is vomit-making, and coffee's nearly as bad.
Voting should be mandatory, as should politics being taught in schools.
The Simpsons are overrated.
No one has the right to comment on someone else's weight unless they are in the medical profession and it's directly relevant.
This hot weather's nice.

Aaah, that was so cathartic. Grin

Big Bag of carrots - 60p (or splurge on organic for....£1) Bag of apples (7 in a bag) 89p Bag of potatoes £1.50 Pasta 60p Large crown of broccoli 45p

That's presuming someone has a supermarket within reasonable distance and that they can get there. Where I live the nearest supermarket is a £6 bus ride away and the only local shops are corner shops or mini-marts where they charge premium prices. Pasta is £1.50 a bag at my local corner shop, I know that because I ran out yesterday and had to run around to get a bag. Apples and bananas are 45p each. No idea how much they charge for potatoes, fresh carrots, or broccoli because I've never seen them stocked but they do sell frozen pizzas for £1 each or two for £1.50 and oven chips are 90p a bag.

No hair EVER looked better for being dyed. Especially those appalling yellow stripes that all women seem to have.

Apart from jolly neon colours.

Drawn on eyebrows look shit.

Alcohol is unnecessary.

Hithere12 · 04/07/2019 20:12

That if you are overweight you are just eating and/or drinking too much. There is no other reason

Hmm. My old cat was morbidly obese due to her thyroid. We only fed her two wet foods a day. So I believe some people with thyroid issues could be effected.

MyGastIsFlabbered · 04/07/2019 20:13

For everyone who's saying 'there's no excuse' for anything...walk a mile in someone's shoes before you judge.

Re:eating healthily (sorry to carp on about this but it's hit a nerve) what about people with mental health problems? Or non-NT people? My friend's son has very severe autism-he will only eat crisps and processed cheese slices? Going to tell his parents there's no excuse for his diet are you?

boringlyboring · 04/07/2019 20:13

Taking away 20 minutes of screen time is not a magic solution for children who even the devil would give back

VictoriaBun · 04/07/2019 20:14

All sport on tv should be banned.
Children under 14 should not be fed McDonald's/ Burgerking etc.
No tv's in bedrooms (adults included )
Women getting blind drunk and falling about outside is grim.

WholelottaPaint · 04/07/2019 20:14

So I'm wondering whether our schooling culture creates populist opinions due to their very controlling structure - most people who attend university don't have populist opinions - do they have they educated out of them?

Hithere12 · 04/07/2019 20:15

People who are nasty about fat people are vile. What harm are they doing to you by being fat? A lot of them are depressed/have mental issues and it’s punching down. (I’m not overweight in the slightest I might add encase that’s why anyone thinks I have this view).

Soola · 04/07/2019 20:15

People that don’t squeeze their spots and walk around with them should be rounded up and made to live on Canvey Island and kept away from the rest of society unless they agree to squeeze/lance them.

Frith2013 · 04/07/2019 20:15

Dogs aren’t really suitable to be kept as pets and I feel sorry for those that are. In fact, the keeping of pets at all is a strange idea.

Hithere12 · 04/07/2019 20:17

The only people who are nasty to childfree people are people who regret having children.

YumyumAndyum · 04/07/2019 20:19

My opinion really does seem to be ticking the box for this thread!

And I stand by it - there’s no excuse. You can buy a large fish and chips for £x

I am sure you can. But fact remain, having an Apple from a bag of 7 for 89p is not more expensive than having a packet of crisps.

Cutting up carrot sticks for your child from a large bag for 60p is not more expensive than giving a sherbet dip.

cooking pasta for a few mins (using gas or electricity) and stirring through half a 28p can of sweet corn and a £1 tin of tuna - is not more expensive than a portion of fish and chips from local chippy.

Fact

Soola · 04/07/2019 20:19

Supermarket/retail park Carparks should have security that tow away vehicles and sell them off with the money going to charity when shoppers are unable to park within the ruddy big rectangles provided for them.

What are your unpopular opinions
MyGastIsFlabbered · 04/07/2019 20:20

Conveniently ignoring my question and MH issues/non-NT people I see Hmm

Doobydoo · 04/07/2019 20:20

Don't choose to have 7 children whilst on benefits for 16 years...then whinge when you have to go onto U.C and lose £1500 a month.

Soola · 04/07/2019 20:22

No, Lidl or Aldi fragrances and toiletries are not dupes for Chanel or Jo Malone. You’re just kidding yourselves.

ChodeofChodeHall · 04/07/2019 20:23

most people who attend university don't have populist opinion

😂😂😂

Hithere12 · 04/07/2019 20:24

We should not have a government consisting nearly entirely of people from rich families who went to private schools. Most of these people grew up on a different planet to most of us and have no idea about what it’s like to be not well off.

Doobydoo · 04/07/2019 20:24

Cats...ok to crap in my garden. If dogs crapped like cats do there would be uproar.

AnnaNimmity · 04/07/2019 20:24

Ed Sheeran and Lewis Capaldi are fab!

Those thick eyebrows are horrendous

Tattoos aren't nice

There's no place for baked beans in a breakfast

In fact food is a bit crap really. Just eat for fuel. Otherwise it's just calories. (I recognise that may be a bit mad).

Nurseries aren't good for little babies - they need one to one care whoever that is

aperol spritz is vile.

Soola · 04/07/2019 20:24

Anyone that buys their children Heeleys or other wheeled shoe and allows them to skate around shops or places anywhere other than their own garden or over the park, should be taken to a Soviet labour camp and do ten years hard labour.

Satterthwaite · 04/07/2019 20:25

Women are important

Soola · 04/07/2019 20:27

Wearing sportswear as fashion attire when it’s obvious you’ve never stepped in a gym or been involved in any kind of exercise or sporting activity is wrong.
