All tattoos are revolting and will generally look dreadful as you age.

Dogs are inherently dangerous and owning one is irresponsible as you potentially put your and other's children at risk.

Veganism is really unhealthy as it doesn't provide enough essential amino acids/B vitamins/calcium.

drogon1 · 04/07/2019 16:44

Feeding your baby ready made jars and pouches instead of making your own food is irresponsible and lazy.

FudgeBrownie2019 · 04/07/2019 16:45

Goats cheese is the devils own work and needs to be removed from all shops. Ditto sheeps cheese.

Home made yoghurt is inedible and makes me sad (I'm looking at you, DH, and your yoghurt making nonsense).

MockerstheFeManist · 04/07/2019 16:45

Hooray for cats and the excellent work they do weeding out the garden bird population in the absence of natural predators.

Votes for 16 year olds, until the age of 76 when you are disenfranchised.

Keep death off the roads, ride on the pavement, Dutch-style.

lazylinguist · 04/07/2019 16:45

All reality tv is awful.
Going somewhere boiling hot on holiday to just lie on a lounger is tedious.
Isolation rooms in schools are a good thing.
Women who wear make-up, high heels, shave their legs etc and believe they are doing so purely 'for themselves' and not because they're conditioned into it are kidding themselves.

MyGastIsFlabbered · 04/07/2019 16:45

This is going to end well...

qj17 · 04/07/2019 16:46

Bread and butter is disgusting.

ChubbyMummy12 · 04/07/2019 16:48

Wine and gin are awful

CoffeeRunner · 04/07/2019 16:49

Britain’s Got Talent is horrendous.

Football is boring.

NYE is depressing.

McDonald’s is fine for DC as a treat.

PuppyMonkey · 04/07/2019 16:50

MyGast - we ought to play MN Bingo on it. How long before the first racist one, about an hour?Wink

DirtyDennis · 04/07/2019 16:50

@lazylinguist Grin

ScreamingValenta · 04/07/2019 16:52

My unpopular opinion is that these threads aren't a very good idea!

howwudufeel · 04/07/2019 16:52

They do unpopular opinions on the Radio One breakfast show every morning. The funniest one was that Tim Peake isn’t a real astronaut.
Mine would be that chocolate cake is not good. Chocolate is amazing. Cake is amazing. Chocolate is often not amazing

Doublevodka · 04/07/2019 16:55

Nandos is overrated shit.
Wimbledon is really boring.
Social media is one of the worst things that ever happened in society.

howwudufeel · 04/07/2019 16:55

Grin at the thread will get deleted messages.
Is it really so controversial to say that goats’s cheese is shit Grin

Ihopeyourcakeisshit · 04/07/2019 16:55

Rescue dogs are not always best being rehomed and some should be pts.

Chartreuser · 04/07/2019 16:57

Fully naked men are not hugely attractive (am straight but think women's bodies are more attractive)

Samcro · 04/07/2019 16:57

these threads are awful, done very few weeks and all ways end up with some pretty nasty (often disablist ) post. so good luck

ChopinIn10Minuets · 04/07/2019 16:57

Potatoes, wholemeal bread and pasta are not the food of the devil, but, in the right quantities and with plenty of green veg and a moderate amount of high quality protein, a useful and nutritious part of a healthy diet.

Gluten intolerance is nowhere near as common as most people think it is.

'Willpower' doesn't exist. If you were able to use 'willpower' to give something up, it's likely that (a) you had the right kind of support around you, (b) you have a stable life without too many changes and stresses and/or (c) you had a good upbringing with loving and firm parents or other good role models. Good health also helps.

'Laziness' is an unhelpful concept born out of deep suspicion of pleasurable activity. Everyone's 'lazy' insofar as it's a natural tendency to pick the easiest and most pleasurable path, and part of growing up is knowing when to go with it and when to fight it. But it certainly isn't helpful to slap that label on a teenager struggling with direction and motivation.

Babymamamama · 04/07/2019 16:58

You shouldn’t have a dog unless you have your own private garden and are willing for it to pee and shit therein.

howwudufeel · 04/07/2019 16:58

Some people need to lighten the fuck up.

MyGastIsFlabbered · 04/07/2019 16:59

@howwudufeel have you never seen one of these threads? It starts off light-hearted, then up pops a vaguely racist/homophobic/sexist/disablist/benefit bashing post and suddenly it turns really nasty and has to be deleted.

Greensleeves · 04/07/2019 17:03

Tattoos + wedding dress = rough as arseholes

howwudufeel · 04/07/2019 17:05

I think most people can grasp its supposed to be lighthearted.

LenoVentura · 04/07/2019 17:05

"Hardworking" is not a virtue. Ii doesn't make you a better person, it doesn't even make you worthy of higher pay. Life would be a lot better for a lot of people if we didn't work quite so hard.

Businesses should pay sufficiently high wages so that there is no need for in-work benefits. If you can't pay your staff a living wage, you don't have a viable business.

Businesses should pay directly into the NHS to cover the cost of industrial accidents, workplace stress etc.
