@Anna don't kid yourself. No one on this thread cares.

WhatsInAName19 · 26/06/2019 09:09

@RunningFeisty a few people have asked if you’re OK/have you got anything in the freezer etc. People do care, it’s just that this is one of those threads where people tend to skim read or just read comments that jump out at them for meal inspiration. It’s not an in-depth discussion so it’s easy to miss comments like yours. I didn’t see you until this morning. Don’t be disheartened by it, it’s not a sign that people aren’t bothered.

If you’re looking for a bit of support then it might be worth having a browse through the topics or starting a thread. Unfortunately lots of us have been in the same boat at some point and there are some very knowledgeable people on MN who may be able to point you towards some resources.

Could you ask for an advance on your wages? Or access a food bank? I know what it’s like to be absolutely skint and it’s shit Flowers

RunningFeisty Have you tried speaking to a food bank? I’m sure if you explained that you were literally starving they would help you without a moment’s hesitation.

Also, are you entitled to benefits? Again, if you are in such dire straits then surely you are entitled to help?
