What’s your all time favourite sandwich?

My fancy one is coronation chicken on malted brown bread with spinach leaves.
My secret shame one is cheese, mayo, cucumber and crisp sandwich on white bread.

I now want both for dinner

Sliced cheddar and deli roast ham on granary bread with butter

Cream cheese and chive on white bread

Tuna mayo on brown bread

Smoked chicken, cream cheese, cheese, cranberry sauce and some mayo. Soooo good.

Yup. I used to look for it on the M&S sandwich shelf for a long time after it was discontinued...……………….

It did tasted a bit 'chalky' at times. Still my top favourite sandwich though.

Growing up in Ireland, the egg salad sandwich was a real hit at any social gathering. I still make it to this day - love it

rare beef, rocket, horseradish,
Boxing day sandwiches

Everyday: egg and cress, prawn mayo, cheese and onion.

Hangover / student: fish finger / fried egg

Now I want to eat piccalilli and crisps, bugger the sandwich :(

Absolute fave: Christmas dinner leftovers sandwich on Christmas Day evening / Boxing Day.
Hot fave: fried egg sandwich
Cold fave: cheese and pickle
all on soft white bread

1. Christmas dinner leftovers ( turkey, stuffing, pigs in blankets) with cold roasties & cold roasted parsnips on the side. Oh & must have Hellman’s mayo
2. Prawn mayo with black pepper. Used to love M & S version but not half so well filled nowadays 😞
3. Crispy bacon, vine ripened tomatoes & avocado on granary with mayo & black pepper
4. Tuna mayo with sweet corn
5. Cheese & jam

6.Topside of beef & mustard. Bread thickly buttered

1. Smoked salmon & cream cheese bagel
2. Egg & tomato cos my Mum always made it for picnics
3. Chicken & stuffing

10. Decent ham with pretty much anything!

Bacon and mushrooms, with bacon and egg coming a close second.

Corned beef and coleslaw or cheese and cucumber with salad cream. Plastic white bread is essential!

Toasted white bread, crispy smoked back bacon, lots of fried sliced tomato, salad cream, black pepper. Slice of buttered bread to mop up the bacony tomatoey juice that falls out onto the plate as you eat. Messy so best eaten without an audience. Needs a large mug of strong tea with it.

Or roast beef and tomato with loads of horseradish

Hummus and cheese is a nice combo too

I’ve got to try that combo. Sounds amazing. Like a kick-ass version of another of my favourites, cheddar and honey.

Love a WH Smith veggie New York deli if I'm at the train station though it's calorific. It's like a veggie Big Mac.

1 hot bacon with avocado and rocket on half a loaf of warm ciabatta
2 fish fingers, warbies toastie bread and ketchup
3 ready meal Shepard's pie in warbies toastie.

Salt and vinegar crisp sandwich - white bread with butter 😂🙈
