Rift between William and Harry?

Do you think the rumours of a rift between the two are true? I thought the press may be blowing it out of proportion then saw they've disbanded their joint charity, ok fair enough they each have their own families etc... but today on William's birthday Harry and Meghan's Instagram account have posted a very basic "happy birthday to the duke of Cambridge" without any affection at all. Makes me think the rift must be true.

@suckling Actually Kate had a place to study HoA at Edinburgh but mysteriously decided to take a gap year and switch to St Andrew’s instead. Coincidence? .. I doubt it.

@silvery Yes, and didn’t Kate volunteer on some Raleigh International gap year thing in Chile, that coincidently Wills was on. Unfortunately for her she missed him by a month. But she got her prize in the end! In some ways I quite admire her steely tenacity that would put Meghan in the shade.

I have no doubt she loves him. I have doubts he cares all that much for her.

You don't just apply for Raleigh International & get on it a week later.
It does take a few months to get a place if you are accepted.
So are we saying that Kate must have known in 1999/2000 that a) William would apply for Raleigh International & b) he would be accepted & the date he would start & c) he might change his mind & not do it.

Well she’s very beautiful, she won some kind of award for “best looking girl in her year” at her University or something like that. Men are shallow so it’s hardly a stretch he’d go for a woman like her.

I've known many who have had kids on Raleigh International. It's very good indeed, quite worthwhile.

Honestly, why don't people want to think the best of people rather than rooting around in the dirt for some scandal? Kate and William seem very well suited from what I can see, have lovely children and appear to be a united family.

Kate had friends at Marlborough who were part of the Royal friends set so she would have had inside knowledge as to which university William applied to and what his plans were for his gap year.

It’s so obviously true. Why do you think the Daily Fail were hinting it with their “feud” with the couple in the first place? The papers are terrified of upsetting the royals so won’t say it outright, why were they hinting at it?

@SilverySurfer As I said previously, it only became public that William was going to St Andrews a few weeks before he started. Up to that point the royal press office was dropping heavy hints that he was going to Edinburgh. I can tell you this for a fact because I was heading to the same university at the same time. There were articles in the papers about the nightclubs William might visit in Edinburgh, places he might live, and so on. No-one knew he was going to St Andrews. UCAS forms have to be submitted before Christmas. How did Kate find out many months before the rest of us that William was going to St Andrews? Did Carol Middleton have a spy in the royal household? Did she break into the UCAS computer system? Is she some kind of James Bond?

Can anyone remember how much money William and Harry got from their mother’s will? Have they used any of that in sitting up their charities? I would think that Harry probably did for his aids charity.

It was a couple of million wasn't it? Charles and the DoE used their pay offs from the military to set up their charities. Don't know where the Invictus Games money came from.

That's one of the nastier rumours I've read on AGC Blinds. Mm was "yachting" and Harry's supposed friend (the one who introduced them) was the person responsible for setting them up.

I don't believe that for a minute, that is salacious and poisonous.

They may not have been on a genuine blind date, but I don't think she's a yachter either (yachter is basically a beautiful woman hired to "accompany" the world's richest old men on their yachts every summer - Lindsay Lohan is allegedly one)

The blinds site that said she was a yacht girl claim the same for pretty much every female celeb. It even claims Diana was one!

And even the The Queen, Princess Margaret & Teresa May back in the day.
