What do you spend your nectar points on?

Inspired by another thread. Have £100 worth of points. Want to spend it on something other than petrol!

I use them to pay for the sainsburys active kids camps. the kids love them :)

We save them for Christmas food shopping.

My Nectar account linked to ebay, so I get vouchers there and buy whatever is needed.

I used to get lots of free drinks at Cafe Nero, free pizzas at Pizza Express, cinema tickets at Vue, magazine subscriptions and I think I once used them towards Eurostar tickets, but they seem to have stopped doing a lot of the offers I used to go for.

I normally buy OH a game for his PlayStation, once a year.

We don't do our regular shop in Sainsbury's, so only have £10-£20 a year in vouchers, but it feels like a decent saving on the game.

We save all the points for Sainsbury's double up days. We buy booze, some nice food and toys.

I didn't know you could spend them on anything other than money off at the till! I've wasted all mine on money off food at the end of the month

I used it to buy DS's car seat from Argos. Really handy as we didn't have the money at the time to pay for it.

I used to save them all then pay for the big Christmas food shop, as per a pp.

Petrol

You can only use up to £50 at a time. I have bought a kindle, blender, basically small appliances. I save up and then if I need something I put my points towards it.

Save them for Christmas. Usually have £100 or so, and we do the "luxury" shop with that. Wine / Baileys / crackers / good chocolates and other treats we only really get for the festive period.

I've only got £30 at the moment as I only ever do small shops in Sainsburys - far too expensive! However I'm hoping that I'll have more by November where I can double up and essentially get £60-70 worth of booze for free 😉

I wait until they do the double up thing before Xmas and then take the kids and buy stuff we really dont need

I've been collecting for nearly 20 years and have a lot of points... I was saving for money off a holiday but the range of what they can be spent on seems much more limited these days. I have no idea what to spend them on!

Booze or house stuff. Next purchase will be a new dinner service. DP is terrible for breaking stuff!

Usually use them on the double up offer for booze.

I don’t think the Nectar points system is as clear as the Tesco points system. Might have another look at the website ....

If you have loads of points and don't know what to use them on, we did this, it was a few years ago and we'd never spent any and had loads ( about £700 / years and years worth)
We wanted a decent tv . So we bought one from our preferred shop, and then over the next few months only used the points to buy our food shop in Sainsbury's.
As I said that was a good few years ago and we are accumulating points again. We currently have £480 worth.

I am another one who doubles up in November and then buys the Christmas booze with the points. I rarely shop at Sainsbury’s but I get nectar points when I buy train tickets.

We saved ours up and bought a really lovely new bbq from Argos. DH is rather impatiently waiting for the weather to cheer up so he can have a go on it 😂

Never heard of the double up? Does it mean you get double the value of the points to spend?
How do you know when double-up promotions are coming?
