Afterlife is laugh out loud funny.

FakeTanandProsecco · 08/06/2019 20:05

We just binge watched Dead to Me! I didn't think it was my thing but couldn't stop watching once I got into it.

For easy Saturday evening watching (mainly while babysitting for friends) I've enjoyed Dumplin', I Feel Pretty and Isn't It Romantic. Easy A was also ok, as was Wine Country. I just feel a bit too young to fully enjoy Wine Country.

Orphan Black, I’m addicted!

I watched Dr Foster last week- series 1 was really good. Series 2 was awful.

ThePerturbedPenguin · 08/06/2019 20:05

Following this!

When they see us.

Fascinating and heartbreaking drama based on the Central Park 5.
Horrifying that this still happened 30 years ago and it was only 30 years ago in an apparently civilised society.

LindaLa · 08/06/2019 20:11

Always be my maybe.
Funny, romantic comedy.
But my usual type of film but really enjoyed it and keanu reeves makes an appearance as a very 'hollywood' version of himself!

vampirethriller · 08/06/2019 20:11

Kath and Kim is silly fun
Santa Clarita Diet

Ivy44 · 08/06/2019 20:11

Yep, When They See Us, is on my list.

TheHatOfDoom · 08/06/2019 20:13

I just started Designated Survivor last night. Three episodes in and I’m hooked.

Cocolapew · 08/06/2019 20:13

Springfern · 08/06/2019 20:14

Dead to me. Good girls. Orange is the new black (it's been on a while but lots of seasons). Mad men (I'll never grow tired of Joan, Betty and Peggy). Top of the lake (contiuing the Elisabeth Moss theme) Easy

Emilmuzz · 08/06/2019 20:14

@Belu I binge watched Dr Foster too last week and thought the second series was absolutely shite! So far fetched.
Afterlife is so funny but get your hankies handy, its very sad in bits. Am also currently watching Orange is the new black and liking it so far.

Help12345678910 · 08/06/2019 20:15

Wine Country. Absolutely hilarious

Changemynamexchangemyname · 08/06/2019 20:15

Schitt’s Creek is brilliant

SummerHouse · 08/06/2019 20:19

I love these threads. People are so generous in their efforts to get strangers to watch good TV! Someone gave me "a star is born" and The Durrell's on a similar thread. They were brilliant. We are late to the party watching Better Call Saul and that's brilliant (breaking bad spin off). Bit mostly I am here for ideas!

BelulahBlanca · 08/06/2019 20:21

I second “Mad Men” I’ve rewatched it so many times.

SummerHouse · 08/06/2019 20:21

Thanks "help" I am taking wine country.
Grace and Frankie is very watchable.

SummerHouse · 08/06/2019 20:22

Hume... Might try mad men again then...

Bellybootcut · 08/06/2019 20:24

The Crown is fantastic. Also Abducted in plain sight (documentary) is really good.

Badwifey · 08/06/2019 20:26

Just finished What if with Renee Zelwegger. She's a bit annoying in (as per usual) but the story is good

Smith888 · 08/06/2019 20:33

Always Be My Maybe on Netflix was surprisingly good.

Smith888 · 08/06/2019 20:35

OP Bird Box is good. I’m not into zombie movies but I enjoyed it anyway.

Drogonssmile · 08/06/2019 20:35

Black mirror
Breaking bad
Better call Saul
American horror story
