I like travels with my father by Jack Whitehall, very funny and the first season he did was in Southeast Asia. Also, dark tourist, the guy who hosts it just has a good sense of humor. Just be prepared… Some of the content can be a bit… Well, dark. I don't know how else to describe it. But I enjoyed it.

I thought bird box was overrated. There are better things on Netflix. Some of the documentaries in particular I think are really good. Icarus, Abducted in plain sight, wild wild country to name a few.
I’ve heard good things from friends about Dead to Me and When they see us.

La Mante , fraid it’s a series, but it’s excellent (but gory) french crime drama with Carol Bouquet. I was hooked which is rare for me.

The good place

The Rain is really good, like zombie movies but better.
To The Bone is really good but trigger warning, it revolves around eating disorders and as great as it is (because it is great) it's intense in parts.
Call the Midwife is on there and I've been binge watching it for a couple weeks.
Grimm is great, as is Whitechapel, and Lucifer (the first 3 seasons are on Prime Video if anyone else has it).

@Bumper1969 the Armstrong report stated it was very likely they had something to do with it. To me, it doesn't matter if you're the guy sticking a dick in a woman or the one holding her down. Both guilty.
Anyhoo, don't want to derail thread. Just didn't think it was so good as people are making out.

Working mums is pretty funny. That's my recommendation:)

Bumper1969 · 09/06/2019 23:13

But Whiskey that is not evidence. There is NO evidence to link them to the crime and I feel you are completely dismissing the injustice that was done.

Can't believe NOBODY has recommended Line of duty !!! Everyone I know is watching it at the moment

Bumper1969 · 09/06/2019 23:26

Whisky also The Armstrong Report has no legal standing it is a theory and there are some excellent critiques of it but you have implied all five are guilty which is exactly the point of the case, assumption based on no evidence. Sorry to detail but I felt your flippant assumption of their guilt rather odd and ill founded.

Santa Clarita Diet is so great. Even though its been cancelled I would still wholeheartedly recommend as it's just so fun. It's quirky but not annoyingly so and Drew Barrymore and Timothy Olyphant are so funny (especially Timothy)

FindaPenny · 18/06/2019 13:44

Would also recommend Bates Motel.... A little slow at times but really good.

TitchyP · 18/06/2019 14:08

Watched The Umbrella Academy with one of my teens recently, that was really good. Weird but good Grin

Happyspud · 18/06/2019 14:17

Two best movies I’ve seen in a long time: Ibiza and About Time.

BumbleBeee69 · 22/06/2019 18:06

Bad Girls
