Love The Crown even though I'm a staunch republicanGrin I can't wait for the next season to start and am also intrigued about long they are going to continue making the show and at which event in recent royal family history they'll stop.

Dirty John is quite good if you like those true life American shows that make you shout WTF because of the "almost too unbelievably crazy behaviour to be true" moments.

Loved Bloodlines.

Stranger Things of course.

moonpiggle · 08/06/2019 20:48

'The OA' on Netflix. Addictive lol. One of those that you binge watch, highly recommend OP!

moonpiggle · 08/06/2019 20:49

Just realised...its a series! Not a film etc.

OldSpeclkledHen · 08/06/2019 20:52

How to get away with murder - there are 4 series on Netflix that I’ve powered through in the past 2 weeks. Series 5 isn’t on there yet though.

The Sinner - series 1 is better than series 2.

13 Reasons Why - although the topic is teen suicide it’s a good drama

The Staircase

Raffles1981 · 08/06/2019 20:55

Bad Blood is good.
Dead to me
The society ( a slow burner)
Chambers

groundcontroltomontydon · 08/06/2019 20:56

Agree with Schitt's Creek and Dead To Me. Champions and Kim's Convenience are funny. I thought I'd hate Lucifer (not least because the first 3 series are missing from Netflix) but it's very watchable.

gingajewel · 08/06/2019 20:57

American horror story
Breaking bad
Black mirror
Jailbirds
Peaky blinders
Orange is the new black

Another vote for When they see us.

DareDevil223 · 08/06/2019 21:03

I've just binge watched season 4 of Lucifer and What/If? which was amazing.
Netflix have all the seasons of Grimm which I love. Mindhunter and Manhunt: Unabomber are also must sees. The Ted Bundy Tapes was very disturbing but fascinating.

ItsReallyOnlyMe · 08/06/2019 21:03

Making a Murderer
The staircase
The Keepers

All true crime.

SummerHouse · 08/06/2019 21:16

Friday night dinner is on Netflix. If you haven't seen it, it is probably the best comedy I have seen.

DareDevil223 · 08/06/2019 21:17

@SummerHouse Friday Night Dinner makes me weep 'SHIT ON IT!' Grin

Lucifer! The season 4 series finale was immense and I can’t wait for series 5.

vampirethriller · 08/06/2019 22:28

@OldSpeclkledHen yes it is! All 4 series.

cannycat20 · 09/06/2019 00:03

If you like really quirky stuff then the Umbrella Academy, if it's still on there. If you're not a science fiction fan don't be put off, it's really about a very dysfunctional family....

Also loved Afterlife; will happily watch Mad Men just for the fabulous fashions and the complexity of most of the characters and scripts; also really enjoyed The Crown and The Durrells.
