Thank you, don't think I can wait up for Scotland's results as have to open up at work tomorrow morning, but I want an allnighter, badly.

Wales/Cardiff exit polls, 21% Brexit party, 20% Lib Dem's, with Labour in 4th (this is Wales 😱) and Conservatives in 6th place!!!

Sleepyhead11 · 26/05/2019 22:25

Brexit party just won Newcastle, which was a remain seat. This is really getting me down.

Ah fuck! Mind you, Sedgemoor is a strange place and hopefully not typical.

How can anyone trust Farage? (Or Boris).

Catquest1 · 26/05/2019 22:27

Im watching. Also voted. Surprisingly it was busier than for the local elections the other week

CinnabarRed · 26/05/2019 22:28

Brexit party just won Newcastle, which was a remain seat. This is really getting me down.

But LibDems have won in Sunderland which was strongly Leave - don’t lose heart.

CinnabarRed · 26/05/2019 22:29

Ignore me - Brexit won Sunderland :-(

BettysLeftTentacle · 26/05/2019 22:30

My local area has gone LibDem but very closely followed by The Brexshit Party which is surprising as it is a very anti-Brexit area.

WhenIsTheEasyBit · 26/05/2019 22:31

Annunziata on BBC. I want to scream. "The people". Not me mate

Pomegranatepompom · 26/05/2019 22:31

and that awful Suzanne Evans Sad

Such a shame that the Remain vote is split across the LibDems, Greens and Change UK; they'd be giving Brexit a run for their money if they were running as one. In fact they'd be ahead, on the % just reported.

Cattenberg · 26/05/2019 22:33

Since the referendum, I haven’t exactly felt ashamed to be British (although I am embarrassed). It’s more that I don’t feel British anymore, and unfortunately, I’m not eligible for citizenship of another EU country. I watched the recent Question Time from Frome, which isn’t a million miles from me, and it made me despair of this country. Does anyone else feel similarly?

JQBased · 26/05/2019 22:34

I could see how exactly the results will play out here and across Europe and so far, spot on. If these results are shocking anyone, you're not living in the real world. I hate to say it, but that's the reality of it. Not that any of this charade will matter, but the way people are voting should not be a shock to anyone except the most detached in our society.

TrixieFranklin · 26/05/2019 22:34

Thank @theliverpoolone I completely agree we needed a strong united remain party to stand united.

CinnabarRed · 26/05/2019 22:35

Bad night for Labour. Northern voters turning to Brexit, and Southern voters turning to LibDems.

Cattenberg · 26/05/2019 22:35

I nearly threw the TV remote at Farage and Annunziata Rees-Mogg, which would have been a waste of a good telly.

CinnabarRed · 26/05/2019 22:36

ChangeUK are polling at c3%. They’re not taking the vote.

Pomegranatepompom · 26/05/2019 22:36

Kind of, I just feel despairing. Not just about Brexit though, also when I encounter people in shops/ at work. There's a general sense of rudeness and entitlement.

RoseAndRose · 26/05/2019 22:36

BBC are reporting that turnout is up, with rises greatest in 'Remain' areas.

But results so far show strong Brexit gains
