I went to an all girls school. One year we had 5 Katherine/Kathryns in our English class.

I also went to a girls' school. There were 5 Catherines in one class and another couple in the same year in different classes, plus the odd Kathleen.

In my class at senior school during the 70's there were 4 girls called Kerry, 4 Catherine's and 3 Jill's.

I went to a comprehensive in Surrey in the 1980s and literally every other girl was called:

Sarah
Nicola
Emma
Michelle
Claire

I love how people are getting more creative with names now, although I expect there will be five Evies and nine Oscars in every class.
