Great pics of him, Meghan looks radiant as usual.

OP posts:

Christ, Meghan gets criticised for everything

Thank goodness we have so many experts who will know how to behave and dress correctly when they have a royal baby and photo shoot Confused

Babyfoal · 08/05/2019 14:59

I couldn't see the point of them appearing without announcing his name too. It's a bit dragged out

SamanthaBrique · 08/05/2019 15:00

The only thing I found interesting is the central role that CBS and Gayle King got - guess the US press is more important.

Gayle wasn't there. CBS sent a pool camera to film the photocall, the footage of which will be distributed amongst the networks in the US. The Daily Mail was making a mountain out of a molehill, as usual.

ThisIsTheEndgame · 08/05/2019 15:00

Who was criticising? Confused

IABUQueen · 08/05/2019 15:04

Scrutinising someone’s every decision is basically criticising their intellect and judgement.

NoSauce · 08/05/2019 15:06

Who was criticising?

MM has been accused of looking terrified, exhausted, sore, shell shocked to name a few comments, people read something into Harry picking fluff off the baby’s hat FFS!

Vladimir was correct, all this faux concern is just a way of criticising them.

Clawdy · 08/05/2019 15:10

Some people on here, and the popular press too, are analysing every movement they make, every glance, every word. They just looked to me like a tired, happy young couple showing off their new baby. Why try and read so much into those few minutes?

Ihopeyourcakeisshit · 08/05/2019 15:11

Seriously, people can comment without it being faux concern.
Not everybody hates her/them.

SemperIdem · 08/05/2019 15:13

They both looked very happy. I was impressed with her ability to walk in those heels!

Mintandthyme · 08/05/2019 15:16

I assume they want to inform HM of the name in person and maybe Prince Charles before they make it public.

Puzzledandpissedoff · 08/05/2019 15:26

It could have been done so differently, sitting down, in a comfortable room . So awkward

Does it matter, though, if it's what they wanted? I'm pretty sure the media would have gone anywhere to in order to get their interview, so if that's what they chose good luck to them

Nanamilly · 08/05/2019 15:27

I though they looked absolutely smitten with their baby and each other.

They came across just like how you would expect a new mum and dad to and I loved the way Harry was holding the baby - He’s still practicing at getting it spot on, just as I saw my sons do first time round.

formerbabe · 08/05/2019 15:40

It could have been done so differently, sitting down, in a comfortable room

But then it would have been more like an interview rather than a quick, here's the baby, everything's great sort of thing, plus the way they did it means they can wrap it up once they've done enough and walk away.

JudgeRindersMinder · 08/05/2019 15:41

Alternatively, the press were assembled, M&H appeared when they were good and ready, didn’t have to arrange themselves on a piece of furniture, stayed a couple of minutes, then left. Perfect

If Meghan carries the baby there’d have been all sorts of criticism of Harry for not being involved and Meghan was being controlling.

They. Cannot. Win.

MarshaBradyo · 08/05/2019 15:43

Standing much better they can walk away more easily

Agednotwine · 08/05/2019 15:46

She did well not to break into tears. Day three was when the baby blues hit and my milk came in. I was a blubbering leaky mess.

NoSauce · 08/05/2019 15:46

But they chose to conduct the interview standing. They must have been more comfortable with that decision. Mind boggling that people think that H and M care whether said people would rather have them sat down.

Agednotwine · 08/05/2019 15:55

Oh meant to say baby's skin tone is the same as my dd (mixed race) - lightly sallow (nurses thought she was jaundiced - I hadn't mentioned the colour of her Dad Grin ). Gonna be a heart breaker I'd say!

Puzzledandpissedoff · 08/05/2019 15:55

the way they did it means they can wrap it up once they've done enough and walk away

Actually, yes - that makes perfect sense

Springwalk · 08/05/2019 16:04

The hyper sensitivity that surrounds MM is truly remarkable.

Yes she looked tired
Yes she looked shocked in a new first time around mother kind of way, most mothers recognise this
Yes she looked awkward who wouldn't

So what? She also looked radiant, in love and very happy. Her baby is gorgeous and healthy and here, she must be over the moon.

It is called motherhood. It is all of those things above and more.

We do not need to paint this plastic, sugar coated, gushing account of something that is perfectly natural and normal. The idea what we must all ignore it, and just gush on and on is for the birds. Go to another forum if you are looking to do this, but don't you dare censor the honesty on here thank you very much.

JacquesHammer · 08/05/2019 16:06

But “honesty” surrounding childbirth - at least from each points of view - can come in a variety of shapes and forms?

NoSauce · 08/05/2019 16:28

In your opinion. I’ve no idea why you think this mind, when we’re looking at the same video in which to me she looks relaxed, very happy and in control. Not tired or shocked.

Lightheart · 08/05/2019 16:44

Archie Harrison 😳😳 not a fan

MythicalBiologicalFennel · 08/05/2019 16:45

I know!

SemperIdem · 08/05/2019 16:47

Archie Harrison could be the child of a D-list TOWIE type.
