Did your husband ask your father’s permission before he asked you?

No, but they had spent a lot of time in hospital waiting rooms talking about the future while I was in ICU. I think my parents knew what my DH had decided to do before I did.

No but when my daughters get married I've told them they've got to get permission off my hubby. I think it's the right thing to do. Wished my hubby had done it though
