No and no.

WillYouDoTheFandango · 21/04/2019 21:10

That’s not a thing is it? I’ve never heard of that. Santa, yes. Easter bunny, no!

dementedpixie · 21/04/2019 21:10

No and no
In fact we never did the Easter bunny at all

No. My kids are not visited by the Easter bunny

WarIsPeace · 21/04/2019 21:11

It's not Christmas.
We've had a roast dinner and everyone got chocolate, that's more than enough.
What next, queuing up at garden centres to meet a bunny for £5?
If I wasn't an atheist I expect I'd go to church or something. But nah, it's a BH weekend to me.

MyDcAreMarvel · 21/04/2019 21:11

No, it’s not Rudolph.

MonkeyfaceThereturn · 21/04/2019 21:12

Fuck no. Ain't got time for that shit.

I'm gobsmacked anyone does the easter bunny. I thought it was a bloody myth Confused

DramaAlpaca · 21/04/2019 21:12

Carrots are only for reindeer at Christmas & bunnies can't write letters Wink

Crappycrapcrapcrap · 21/04/2019 21:13

What??
Is this really a thing?

Usuallyinthemiddle · 21/04/2019 21:15

Whaaaaaa? No.

thisisthetime · 21/04/2019 21:16

Nope. I don’t think I could keep a straight face to be honest then they might figure out the truth about santa and the tooth fairy too! They got some chocolate and found some eggs with friends last week.

Bunnybigears · 21/04/2019 21:17

No its Easter not Christmas!

DerbyRacer · 21/04/2019 21:17

No. We have never really done the Easter bunny.

Andcake · 21/04/2019 21:18

No and no...as Dc(6) and dp said this morning and last night "it's not Christmas"

Cuppaand2biscuits · 21/04/2019 21:19

No, but for the first time today I have seen this on my Facebook feed.
Also the garden centre near us has been doing tea parties with the Easter Bunny last week. Must be a new thing.

SoyDora · 21/04/2019 21:19

Err... no. Do people do this?
We don’t do the Easter bunny. DC are 5 and 3 and know he’s just a fictional character.

Laniakea · 21/04/2019 21:19

No

KindnessCrusader · 21/04/2019 21:19

No Confused

Howtotrainyourhamster · 21/04/2019 21:20

We do the Easter bunny but certainly don’t leave out any carrots - definitely taking it to the next level! 10 year old doesn’t believe, don’t think 8 year old does either but they go along for the free chocolate. Not sure about 4 year old but don’t think his sister talking about the ‘Easter bunny’ in inverted commas helps.

M0reGinPlease · 21/04/2019 21:20

Christ no. Please tell me that's not a thing?

My MIL said in a hugely patronising voice to DD (3) this morning 'did the eater bunny bring you some eggs?' To which she replied 'No. My dad bought them' 😂

Yoozanaim · 21/04/2019 21:22

He usually sends a card but DS didn't go to sleep for AGES last night so I was knackered and that meant EB did not bother this year!
They left out two carrots and a leaf of lettuce!

Muddlingalongalone · 21/04/2019 21:22

Didn't realise this was a thing til I saw it on social media so no & no
They did go and cuddle the "not real" Easter bunny earlier though when we were out!

LoubyLou1234 · 21/04/2019 21:22

I've also seen Easter bunny deliveries with the bunny coming to your house. Like elf on a shelf did at christmas... freaky bunny costumed adult delivering eggs. Fun.

Creatureofthenight · 21/04/2019 21:23

Nope. Not a tradition I’m aware of, is this another wonderful import from the US?

ImNotHappyaboutitPauline · 21/04/2019 21:24

Nope. The Easter Bunny isn't really a thing for my dc nor most others I know. They see him/her/it Confused as a character similar to a cartoon but don't have any belief that their chocolate eggs come from anyone but the giver.
