For me it's a microwave - never had one and never will.

Oh we don’t have a toaster either - nasty little crumb collecting side clutterers! I also feel the same about a kettle but dp will not budge on that 😂 our kitchen sides are totally empty other than a kettle on the windowsill and a tassimo (both for him and guests, I don’t drink hot things).
And no slow cooker. My mum had one in the 80/90s or whenever they were popular. Everything came out tasting the same and with a horrible texture.

Stand alone Freezer. About once every 3 years I briefly think it could be useful but not worth having it as clutter for rest of time.

I have & like most the other stuff listed. not hair dryer or tumble drier, though.

This is quite a boasting by stealth thread.

I have and love the following:
dishwasher (one day I dream of owning two)
washing machine
tumble dryer
microwave
coffee machine
Netflix
Amazon Prime
iphone

Genuinely interested in the dishwasher-haters. Is washing up by hand your therapy then? I think DH wouldn't mind not having one, but I cook and cater so much I would have to actually give up my job if I started doing that.

Fluffycloudland77 · 13/04/2019 18:36

I think if my Electrolux dw had been my only dw I’d have washed up by hand too but the builders put it in so I replaced it with a Miele.

squeakyreptile · 13/04/2019 18:42

A TV. DP and I have such little time together (works away during the week) that we want to do things we really enjoy together. TV for us isn't it! Both of us didn't have one anyway before we got together, we were just a good match that way! Never occurred to us to buy one.

Friedeggsandcustard · 13/04/2019 18:44

Make up.
