Has anyone forgotten what time their baby was born?

I remember DS&2 but I can't remember what time DS3 was born.

It was a straight forward, boring birth as well so it's not like it was traumatic.

I'm not sure if I should feel bad that I can't remember.

Has anyone else forgotten?!

I can't remember their birth weights either!

DS1: 22:19pm
DD: 12:12pm
DS2: 03:52am (what a git)! Grin

Oldest I was on every drug going so this is the time I was told, although they seemed to announce it straight away so it's probably correct. Looked straight at the clock seconds after the younger two were born, especially number 3 as I told the midwives I would have him before 4am (having arrived at just before 2am) and I was right! 🙌🏻

Also remember their days and weights and even their lengths too! And how early or late they were!!!

DS1: Tuesday/9lbs/22.5" (10 days late)
DD: Monday/8lbs 11oz/20" (4 days early)
DS2: Sunday/9lbs 2oz/21" (4 days late)

Why I remember this useless information and not things I actually need to is a mystery...🤦🏼‍♀️

I can’t remember any of my three childrens times of birth. I know if it was morning or night and I remember details but nothing else. My memory is so bad. Feeling like a bad mum not knowing it.

I remember it was 7.40 something pm but in my defence I was under a general and he was prem and in the nicu so wasn’t the most important thing at the time.

Don't feel bad BoobiesToThe Rescue. I am 60 and my daughter (now 27) was asking me what time she was born and I can't find the info anywhere. I know the rough time but I don't have discharge paperwork, there's nothing in the ancient red book and it's not on the birth certificate. I have been beating myself up about this, but have come to the conclusion that sometimes we have to cut ourselves some slack - no one is perfect. What does surprise me though is how many respondents on here are so judgemental and smug about their own record keeping. Don't worry I'm sure you are a brilliant parent in many other ways. 😀
