Anyone else hate a programme that their DP LOVES? Complain about it here!

Obviously DH & I don't love all the same tv programmes, but one that he loves and I really despise is Blue Bloods. I can't really be bothered to go anywhere when it's on, so I'm stuck on the sofa reading and trying to ignore it.

I'm sure it's a perfectly good show, but I hate it, and since DH no longer listens to my complaints about it, I'll put them here:

The entire family being great salt-of-the-earth cops. All just too good.

Top gear and match of the day. I'm bloody sick of channels showing top gear repeats, he can always find it.

Omg Another one for Pawn Stars and Wheeler Dealers for exh. I hated it. When I met a new bloke, he came round and put Wheeler Dealers on when I left the room and I couldn’t believe it. Didn’t last.

I don't drag him over to watch a tutorial on my hobby, as I know it wouldn't have the same interest for him that it does for me!

Tonight with John Oliver. Now, I adore Community and didn't mind him in that, but on his own show I find him just unbearable. Even when he's saying something I agree with, he's just so loud and smug about it, all I hear is "LOOK AT ME, LISTEN TO ME, AREN'T I CLEVER!"

Flipside, I've got drawn into Classic Coronation Street and he ribs me about that. But I don't think he hates it, I've caught him laughing at it quite a bit

Nobody’s dh watches Hardcore Pawn? It is the saddest thing on tv, desperate people with no money or hope, it is so depressing. Dh relishes it. I have now banned it, I just can’t take it any more.
I also WILL NOT watch Hot Tuna or Swamp people, and the car one with the Count, any police camera ones and Can’t Pay, we will Take it away.
I will tolerate Pawn Stars, mainly cause i quite fancy Rick and Storage Wars.
He also watches huge amounts of American cliched toe curlingly shite films.
He is in the gutter when it comes to tv.

Flash/Arrow/Supergirl - DD and DH love all these, I can't stand them.

Game of Thrones - every time I walk into the room and its on someone is lopping someone else's head off.

Big Bang Theory - total cringe.

The Last Leg - although like a PP, my DH has now realised that it's blokey wank.

Worst of all is Eurovision but at least its only once a year.

I like Sky Sports News, football, Still Game though.

The football doesn’t bother me at all, I quite like it, to a point. Can’t stand boxing though, makes me wince.

Anything with gravelly voiced men wandering around with swords/ guns/ lightsabres. Always trying to avenge a dead father/ live up to dead father's reputation. Women are ice maiden queens/ kick ass princesses with amazing eyeliner.

All his PS4 games follow this formula too.

I don't mind hardcore pawn but there is a guy in Pawn stars that gives me the creeps on later series he got newteeth and looks even creepier I need to leave the room if dh is watching it,

I didn’t care after one episode never mind after how many series.

Been separated over a year and it still triggers me if i see it by accident on the tv

An hour long episode showing how pens or drawing pins or other random shit is made
I have to leave the room, it’s the most boring thing I have ever seen but he loves it

I'm lucky me and DH like the same programs I can't think of any he watches or I watch that the other doesn't like. smug

DH loves any sci fi, no matter how crap. He recently watched all of Star Trek Voyager / Next Generation which took about 4 months to get through. Now it’s Marvel Agents of Shield. But our TV is not in the main sitting room, so it doesn’t affect me. I don’t make him watch my period dramas (War and Peace is boring apparently).
