If you could only eat one meal for the rest of your life, what would it be?

I'm pretty certain it would be roast chicken, roast spuds, cabbage and gravy. Or maybe steak, pepper sauce, jacket potato and peas. It's a tricky one.

Pud would be sticky toffee pudding and vanilla ice cream fo sho

Steak, chips and mushrooms with a crisp white wine, for taste reasons.

If I had to truly survive on one meal though I’d probably pick something more healthy

catinboots99 · 11/04/2019 22:37

@Yalltroll ooh yes I forgot about starters.

At the moment it would either be breaded mushrooms or halloumi fries

churchthecat · 11/04/2019 22:38

Pizza.

Jamhandprints · 11/04/2019 22:40

Beans on toast with loads of cheese and black pepper and a cup of tea.

eeela · 11/04/2019 22:42

Mine would be roast chicken too! With all the trimmings

Pudding: lemon tart with vanilla gelato
Started: caprese salad

TulipsTulipsTulips · 11/04/2019 22:42

Chicken pho(Vietnamese noodle soup). Can’t get enough of it

FamilyOfAliens · 11/04/2019 22:43

Halloumi fries as a starter?

Dried chickpeas?

What have I stumbled into?

OhTheRoses · 11/04/2019 22:44

Chicken loction.

Taffeta · 11/04/2019 22:44

Lobster rolls, chips, salad with lashings of dressing. Cold crisp white wine.

LurpakIsTheOnlyButter · 11/04/2019 22:44

My own home made chilli.
With either rice or chips or garlic pitta

Or made into burritos. Yum

TildaKauskumholm · 11/04/2019 22:45

A roast dinner, possibly Christmas Dinner.

whitehalleve · 11/04/2019 22:46

Cheese ploughman's with a side of chunky chips.

TheInvestigator · 11/04/2019 22:47

It's too difficult! I know potato dauphinoise (sp?) would be involved! But also... Mexican food and I'm not sure if they go together!

rosettesforjill · 11/04/2019 22:48

This sounds like I'm trying to make myself sound good but it would be pan fried salmon or trout with some melted potted shrimp, samphire, Jersey Royal potatoes, asparagus and hollandaise sauce. I can't resist dishes like this in restaurants!

catinboots99 · 11/04/2019 22:49

@Taffeta see I love lobster but am pretty sure I wouldn't if I had to eat it every day

MollyYouInDangerGirl · 11/04/2019 22:49

Crispy calamari,

Ooh cant decide for a main course whether it would be a big fat cheese and bacon burger with onion rings and fries or spinach and ricotta tortellini with tomato and mascarpone sauce, garlic bread and grated cheese

And dessert either sticky toffee pudding with caramel ice cream if it's cold weather or eton mess if it's got Grin

Nutkin123 · 11/04/2019 22:52

Pie. All day every day. Some form of chocolate melty thing for pud pud. Or just fuck off the pie and have scrambled eggs, smoked salmon, bagel and spinach if I had to be mildly healthy.

catinboots99 · 11/04/2019 22:54

I know it's my game, but do you think we would be allowed a cheese course?

OP posts:
Shockers · 11/04/2019 22:55

Raclette with soft potatoes and green salad, served with a crisp rosé and a bowl of olives.

Woliverine · 11/04/2019 23:00

Crusty fresh bread with salted butter

Nice big pot of tea

Grin
Tinkoschminko · 11/04/2019 23:05

Paella and crusty bread.

ShabbyAbby · 11/04/2019 23:08

Haloumi fries with sweet chilli dip to start (and a mojito or two)

Burger with guacamole, beef tomato sauce, crisp iceberg, fried red onions and bacon in a brioche bun, with chips covered in spicy cheese sauce and spring onion as a side and red cabbage slaw made with mustard mayo, with a "coke float" naturally (full sugar Coca Cola with a scoopful of vanilla).

To finish, peach and banana crumble with M&S vanilla bean custard, and a Double Espresso Macchiato with hazelnut syrup.

Thanks 😊
