I'm pretty certain it would be roast chicken, roast spuds, cabbage and gravy. Or maybe steak, pepper sauce, jacket potato and peas. It's a tricky one.

Pud would be sticky toffee pudding and vanilla ice cream fo sho

Starter - calamari

Main - medium rare steak, chunky chips, garlic mushrooms, onion rings

Desert - cheeseboard with nice bread, chutney and grapes

Merlot to drink

Don't think I'd last long on this lot though 😂

@LesLavandes frozen Maltesers? I am so intrigued!

CakeNinja · 12/04/2019 17:50

Crispy chilli squid to start.
Ribeye steak ciabatta with fried onions and mustard, chips and a massive goats cheese stuffed portobello mushroom on the side.
Sticky toffee pudding with clotted cream for pudding.

On a similar theme. Cut wafer thin slices of Mars Bar and freeze. Best petit fours ever.

beanaseireann · 12/04/2019 18:38

Surf n Turf and chips
Mango

MilkTrayLimeBarrel · 12/04/2019 18:39

Fresh English Asparagus with Hollandaise
Roast Chicken with Jersey potatoes, french beans, mini corn, stuffing, chipolatas, bread sauce and gravy
Home made Victoria sponge cake with strawberry jam and lots of cream

I want that now! Got fish tonight though!

Stravapalava · 12/04/2019 18:39

Hot buttered toast. Boring, but my ultimate fave. Loads of butter, right to the edge, vert very dark toast. The end of the bread as well. Can't beat it.

LadyMonicaBaddingham · 12/04/2019 18:40

Bread. Cheese. Wine.

All I'll ever need...

Ellenborough · 12/04/2019 18:40

It would have to be a roast dinner. Probably chicken. I love lots of foods but I think I'd get sick of everything eventually. Can't imagine ever getting sick of a good roast.

Grumpbum123 · 12/04/2019 18:41

Jacket potato with beans and cheese followed by mint choc chip ice cream

sashh · 13/04/2019 02:32

Would it be cheating to say 'carvery'? They rotate the different meats and veg.

Pudding wouldbe tiramisu.

Crafting1Queen · 13/04/2019 03:33

Hahahaha, OP - you can't start a thread titled "If you could only eat one meal for the rest of your life, what would it be?" then promptly post two options…. Kinda defeats the purpose lol

FloofyDoof · 13/04/2019 07:08

Tomato bruschetta for starter. Steak with tonnes of garlic mushrooms, fried red onions and tomato, spinach and fries for main and something with chocolate, fresh cream and either raspberries or cherries for dessert.
