Returning from holiday to my own shower and hairdryer tops my list.

Waking up thinking it's a work day and then realising it isn't!

Seeing my ddogs racing to get to the best space next to me on the sofa!

Falling asleep on the sofa with one of my whippets necks entwined around my neck.

Fresh laundry smell!!

My dogs face when I get in from work.

Most of all..looking to my right just now and seeing my girls cuddled in to each other on the sofa, nothing beats that.

• Being affectionate and/or silly with DH
• Getting a message from my best friend (live at opposite ends of the country but WhatsApp daily)

Vending machine tea and cheapo white toast after giving birth!

Taking hair down from a tight ponytail.

Hot, sweet, creamy coffee brought back to bed with a book first thing in the morning.

A cup of tea sipped in bed on a rainy morning.

A chatty email from my lovely DIL.

Flower buds opening in a warm room.

Having a home all to myself
