Returning from holiday to my own shower and hairdryer tops my list.

Seriously, I always feel like a new woman afterwards

Freshly washed floors.
The fridge all organized
When I’m fresh out of the shower fresh bedsheets and a cup of tea and a nice film.
Life has so many pleasures!

Family of aliens that feeling is unreal
I woke up late for work the other day and didn’t get to go to the toilet and I was in the worst form! Haha

Eating hot dark rye & wheat toast with a great peanut butter (smooth, of course!) followed by a huge mug of strong cocoa made with skimmed milk, cinnamon and nutmeg.

Sitting down to a full English breakfast with a proper meaty sausage and poached eggs and a pot of tea to myself.

The instant warmth on my icy feet & ankles when I put my fleecy socks on

Snuggling under my goose feather/down quilt on the sofa watching boxsets when I'm unwell.

Standing under a powerful, hot shower when I'm tired or sore.

Sorry one more: a perfectly ripe, fragrant mango for dessert (or any time really).

the sound of bees in the garden in summer
the silence after a heavy snowfall
The crunch of walking on fresh snow
seeing heron
frost sparkled trees in winter sunlight
a starry night sky

Slippers on bare feet, especially just after a shower.
Waking up after a good sleep, taking eye mask off to find it's daylight, and nice weather.

Getting into my bed with freshly washed bedding.
Sitting on the sofa with my dog next to me, head on my feet.
Sitting on the decking watching the sun go down in the summer in our front garden.
Perfect blue skies and the gentle hum of a plane overhead on a summer's day.
Ambling along on my horse with my dog at our heels
Watching DH being really patient with DD
Getting compliments from others on how lovely DD is and feeling proud.
Logging off on a Friday knowing I've got everything done and I'm in a good place for next week at work.

Oh and a boiling hot shower just before bed
