Yes it's his knee! Should have cropped it before I emailed it to Warburtons, they're gonna think I'm off my rocker!

You're welcome, glad to be of some use!

And trust me, whilst they'll be slightly bemused by the knee it won't even rank in the top 100 of weird complaints they've had.

HollowTalk · 22/03/2019 22:19

How's he going to toast them?

fimoing123 · 22/03/2019 22:20

Ooh I've got a packet of Warburtons in the cupboard, now wondering if I've got 1, 4, 5, 8 or 9! I'm going to feel like Charlie Bucket tomorrow morning...

AllGoodDogs · 22/03/2019 22:20

In a toaster. Was that a trick question?!

NannyRed · 22/03/2019 22:23

Oo crumpet bingo!

Eyes down for a full house and cheers @Chocolateisfab for the smile

TheRhythmlessMan · 22/03/2019 22:25

I thought knee was nose

GhengisCalm · 22/03/2019 22:26

Why on earth have you not put them in numerical order!!

I am not sleeping tonight that is going to haunt me every night Sad.

AudTheDeepMinded · 22/03/2019 22:26

I know I'm overtired but this has really tickled me! I second buying a lottery ticket!

babyno5 · 22/03/2019 22:27

I'll hazard a guess they've been doing factory trials of different recipes or equipment and these shouldn't have been packed x

TheRhythmlessMan · 22/03/2019 22:29

I'm also considering buying a lottery ticket myself.

babysharkah · 22/03/2019 22:30

I would absolutely be buying a lottery ticket:)

AllGoodDogs · 22/03/2019 22:32

No good if I'll have to share it will all of MN, how shall I spend my £6.32?!

babyno5 · 22/03/2019 22:32

@WeeDangerousSpike you're right about weird complaints! I used to work for another well known bakery and got the usual Friday afternoon call. EHO reporting a customer found a bird in a loaf. He said they'd send it to Public Analysts Lab for identification. 2 weeks later I got the lab report (and the bill!). Yes the highly qualified Public Analyst confirmed that yes indeed it was ...........a bird!! FFS I was expecting a Latin named breed 😂😂. I shit you not it was an entire bird baked and sliced in a loaf 😂😂

elephantoverthehill · 22/03/2019 22:33

Quality control just failed its own quality control.

Skittlesandbeer · 22/03/2019 22:34

It's the order you're supposed to eat them in.

Prize for the most British idea ever! Grin

AllGoodDogs · 22/03/2019 22:34

Urgh that's disgusting!!! I'm sure I saw something recently about a mouse or rat baked into a loaf of bread.

OP posts:
TooOldForThisUrgh · 22/03/2019 22:35

I’m ovulating, and if those had been mine, I’d have already eaten 2,3,6&7.

SneakyGremlins · 22/03/2019 22:36

Urgh that's disgusting!!! I'm sure I saw something recently about a mouse or rat baked into a loaf of bread

Sad
PerkingFaintly · 22/03/2019 22:37

And this is why I love MN.Grin

OP: Why are DH's crumpets numbered?
[6 mins later] Expert: this is why.

GabsAlot · 22/03/2019 22:41

no surely hes winding you up

babyno5 · 22/03/2019 22:41

@PerkingFaintly sorry but 26 years in the food industry takes over 😂. I know what you mean about expert answers 😂. My OH and I were talking about pensions stuff earlier and neither of us knew the answer. He jokingly suggested posting in MN but he might have a point 😂

PerkingFaintly · 22/03/2019 22:41

I too am distressed by the failure to arrange the crumpets in numerical order.

Your DH has let you, down he's let himself down, and most importantly he's let the terminally pedantic among us down.Sad

DishingOutDone · 22/03/2019 22:50

Delightful as all this is, I do hope he's not going to eat them?!

SarfE4sticated · 22/03/2019 22:51

So, Manufacturing Experts, why would those crumpet need to be marked - new recipe? speed of production? I'm intrigued... please share

Also, yes, agree with Perking, crumpets in numerical order and straighten those numbers up too please!
