Flowers, nice wax melts and a really decent joint on a Sunday. Tonight we have sausages, veg and mash - total cost for 3 is under a fiver but yesterday I spent £14 on a rib of beef from the butcher!

I only drink out of China tea cups. Never out of any old mug I would rather not have a drink

More for him than me, but makes me smile!
A different or more expensive treat item for my cat, than what he'd normally have (snack or toy). When I come back from supermarket he tends to look in my bag for treats. It's always the same old same old. So occasionally he has a new toy or 'posh' bag of treats and to see his little face light up when he sees it is great (I don't have kids to spoil)

A bag of pick n mix from Tesco or Wilko or IKEA, not often but always occurs around PMS time. This combined with a new book (usually second hand)
A magazine that has a really good free beauty product that I actually want

alltoomuchrightnow · 11/03/2019 23:42

Some new Original Beautyblenders in different colours
Not cheap but nothing beats starting a new one and I've not found any others that compare

My little alarm clock radio just arrive this morning, thanks to this thread!!

It’s so cute and I am really enjoying lying in bed listening to my favourite music.

😀

I have one of those battery-powered milk frother things. Every morning I make my coffee in my lovely le creuset mug with foamed milk and it feels really luxurious - like it is from a cafe. It's a morning ritual for me and I love it.

Acrylic nails every three weeks
Daffodils make me smile, my Grandma loved them
New soft towels

Trying to keep this thread going! Mine are:
Leisurely browse of garden centre, new plants in garden / pots
Facials / massage / spa day
Nails done, hair blow dry (usually a frizzy mess!)
Board games and alcohol with friends
Neals yard cheeses with plenty of bread and wine
Trying new restaurants
Visit to library and bed early with new book
Lighting candle and radio on low in bedroom as evening draws in
A nicely laid table at breakfast with delicious things to eat (croissants, smoked salmon, eggs, fresh coffee)
Sleep!
Fresh flowers
All manner of expensive skincare
Brows waxed and tinted at Benefit
I could go on...

A pack of custard creams is my idea of a luxury right now. Damn I'm broke.

user1457017537 · 21/03/2019 19:30

Theatre tickets occasionally, but my ultimate treat is the ballet.
Battery operated candles grouped around the room. I like the glow and and the soft light in winter, plus no fire hazard.
Time for a good old natter with friends.
Buying books on kindle.
Middle of the night tea and toast.

topcat2014 · 21/03/2019 19:48

I pay to get my car washed.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 23/03/2019 22:38

Had a mooch around an art gallery today and coffee. Felt very civilised and a bit of a treat.

Gluten free chinese takeaway, for lunch, followed by the above!

SausageSmuggler · 23/03/2019 23:38

I go to ballet classes twice a week. I've made some amazing friends and it really is a highlight for me. Not that I'm very good mind you.
