Just thinking about the little things that cheer me up and that make me smile.

Exercise class which is the highlight of my week.

Major Dickason’s blend is a staple in my house

Same here. Smile

This thread is so soothing.

Tulips
Oatly barista milk
Ancestry subscription
Heated blanket on top of the bed
Crabtree and Evelyn bar soap, the same scent I’ve liked since I was little*

*although - are C&E closing down? I went into our local branch the other day and absolutely everything was on sale/gone, and they were really tight-lipped about what was happening ... so I went home and panic-bought six bars of soap online

I have lovely cotton bedding and for a real treat I pay £4 to have it professionally ironed.

GrimDamnFanjo · 08/03/2019 01:12

Love these lists.
I like bath oil, scented candles and lipstick!

Jb291 · 08/03/2019 01:14

Really good strong cheddar cheese and lovely crackers
Lovely loose tea and fresh ground coffee
Bubble baths and gorgeous smelling shower gel
My new car with upgraded infotainment so I can have audiobooks on the way to and from work
Fresh bed linen

GivemeGivenchy · 08/03/2019 01:15

Birch box and glossy box delivered each month. It is my little treat to myself and I love trying different products/colours etc. That I might not usually.

PrettyAmazingGrace · 08/03/2019 01:15

Grated cheese
Tins with ringpull tops

Fentimans lemonade
Expensive cotton bedlinen
Not from concentrate juices

64s - it looks like C&E are winding down- I have started a thread on this (quickly placed an order for some old favourites)

Once a month on payday I get some Lush products. I like the no plastic bubble bars they do.

Also daffodils around the house in spring or a hyacinth plant that can then be planted out in the garden.

And nothing makes me happier than falling into bed with a fluffy teddy bear fleece duvet cover.

Bluesheep8 · 08/03/2019 06:28

Perfume
Scented candles
Any old cheap bottle of wine

Espressomartin · 08/03/2019 06:43

This thread has really made me think. I buy small bunches flowers for my house but don’t think of it as a treat and I really should. I’m not mindful of them. I put them in a vase and then barely notice them. I’m going to take a different approach this weekend. Other things in these lists I do too but don’t linger over them and appreciate the experience. Very thought provoking. Oh and I’ve just ordered Matrix shampoo and conditioner for the first time Smile

Huntawaymama · 08/03/2019 07:28

Over the last couple of years I've bought rose bushes for my garden, I love them but I've never told my husband I've spent £60 on them all

Apart from that I'm just realising I don't treat myself anymore 😢 I used to buy flowers, currently breastfeeding so I don't ever drink anymore. Hhhmm I think I deserve a treat today

Brightpinktulip · 08/03/2019 08:39

Flowers weekly (just a cheap Aldi bunch)

My gym membership - well worth it- I go to three classes a week and also swim.

Alcohol for the weekend!

Nice candles, reed diffusers for the house.

Brightpinktulip · 08/03/2019 08:40

Oh and I forgot books for my kindle!

Chocolateandabook2019 · 08/03/2019 08:52

Added flowers on to my shopping lists for later, along with scented candles (started a thread on candles earlier) and reed diffusers.
A nice foam bath also.
Great thread, thanks op 🙂

TinklyLittleLaugh · 08/03/2019 09:10

Tropicana
Mini bottles of prosecco for a midweek treat
Freya bras. Never knew a bra could actually be comfortable
Hotter slippers: bliss for my dodgy feet

riotlady · 08/03/2019 09:41

A bath with a Lush bath bomb and a good podcast
Psychologies magazine subscription
Takeaway in front of the telly every couple of weeks with my partner

Supersimpkin · 08/03/2019 09:51

Geraniums - scented, £1 each. They make the place smell lovely, look pretty and thrive on neglect.

ihatethecold · 08/03/2019 14:47

Espressomartini

You will love using matrix hair products.
They make a big difference to your hair.

speakout · 08/03/2019 15:09

My day is peppered with self nurturing.

An early morning yoga class, peppermint tea, good coffee, I play awakening music as I work.
I walk in the woods, light candles daily, burn incense, healthy food, fresh fruit.
Herbals and salt baths, spa showers, body moisturiser- I do many of these things on a daily basis.

ginghamtablecloths · 08/03/2019 15:21

I love china and sometimes can't resist yet another pretty cup and saucer. I don't need any more and mostly I manage to hold off but sometimes I can't help myself.

3in4years · 08/03/2019 16:20

Bathe the kids in child's farm sweet mandarin.

MrsApplepants · 08/03/2019 16:28
