Best luxury I have - cleaner once a week. She is brilliant and does such a good job. I have a chronic illness so knowing the house is blitzed once a week means I can trundle on with dishwasher loading / unloading, preparing simple food, laundry but not feel overwhelmed with living in a complete mess. We don't drink or smoke and I rarely go out and I cancelled my gym membership as I'm too unwell to go.

Honestly the 6 hours a month I have to myself. I get my nails done once a fortnight and my eyebrows done every 3 weeks. I worked out that it amounts to about 6 hours of me time, including travelling there and back. It's the only break I get. I look forward to my appointments.

Running. Every day.

I love nice porridge, I make different funky flavoured ones every day with pretty toppings. It makes me happy to see it and eat it!

I mainline cups of tea all day because I love it.

Sets of things. Like the same scent shower gel/bubble bath, exfoliator and body lotion. Matching bra and pants. Ideally, matching purse and bag, but I have lots of bags and cannot afford a purse habit too!

OxanaVorontsova · 07/03/2019 20:47

A game of netball - I look forward to the running around and the excitement every day I'm not playing. I often get extra games by filling in on other teams.

The ritual my DH and I have before every present-giving occasion. He'll wrap my goodies in the same room as me, right under my nose. I can't see what they are because I'm blindfolded, but I just love hearing him in action, as much as opening my presents.

All day breakfast with poached eggs and buttered sourdough bread

A huge cup of strong cocoa made with great cocoa powder

Warm fleecy socks when my feet are cold

WarpedGalaxy · 08/03/2019 00:41

Nice to see the love for Peet’s coffee. Major Dickason’s blend is a staple in my house and there’s a Peet’s 5 minutes walk from where I work.

My favorite perfume in 3 strengths edt, edp and parfum.

British biscuits and sweets from World Market

I buy lots of books and music and I recently splurged on Apple AirPods so I can listen to my music while I read, work or do housework, gardening or anything without having to be tethered to a device.

DH and I share a good quality bottle of wine every Friday night with a takeaway and go out for dinner most Saturdays.
