Monmouth coffee.

Liz Earle shampoo/conditioner - smells amazing.

Lurleene · 08/03/2019 20:42

Yes to PP re Neom Organics, although it is a bit spendy for me so I only get it on offer from TK Maxx.

St Eval candles are just gorgeous and affordable too. They are made in Cornwall so I'm hoping to watch them being made when I'm on holiday there soon. I tend to pick them up in posh interior shops and also TK Maxx again from time to time. Bay and Rosemary is my favourite.

The best hour of my week is on Sunday afternoon when I disappear upstairs with a glass of wine and the Sunday Times to do (some of Blush) the crossword and the Where Was I? puzzle. I hate it when it's too easy, I like it when it is tricky to work out.

SnowWhite33 · 08/03/2019 20:46

Fresh flowers weekly
Breakfast in a cafe by myself listening to a podcast/reading once a week after i drop kids at school/prescool

Jsmith99 · 08/03/2019 20:57

Once a month, after payday, I do a treat food shop. I sometimes go to the local posh farm shop, sometimes to a farmers market, sometimes to M&S or Waitrose. I buy whatever the hell I want without looking at the price.

JRMisOdious · 08/03/2019 20:58

Bird seed and gin

DailyMailFail101 · 08/03/2019 20:58

Visiting my Chiropractor is the highlight of my week, went with a bad back, bad backs now sorted but I love the feeling so carry on going.

Ronsters · 08/03/2019 21:13

Flowers, usually just get the cheap ones from the supermarket, I love freesias especially.
Nice body lotion, can be Molton Brown or Superdrug, just has to smell nice.

VictoriaBun · 08/03/2019 21:15

Visiting tea shops for coffee and cake. We spend on average £60-120 a month for the 2 of us we probably go too often

AwdBovril · 08/03/2019 21:16

Good skincare.
Good dark chocolate.
Fresh fruit (so I'm not tempted to pig out on big bars of milk chocolate).
Lovely salad ingredients - seeds, herbs, fresh veg from the farm shop.
A workout as often as I feel well enough.
A guilt free day in bed whenever I really can't cope with the pain.
Nice herbal tea - I especially like chamomile & limeflower.
Lovely scented soaps. I keep them in my clothes drawers so they make my clothes smell all lovely too.
Beautiful soft natural (or bamboo) yarn to knit with. And beautiful patterns to keep me from going crazy when I'm stuck indoors but well enough to be out of bed.

Chickenwing · 08/03/2019 21:36

Cheap magazines like take a break

Cosy socks/pajamas/blankets from primark

Dairy milk/chocolate buttons

Hand cream

On Fridays I buy "fun" lunch rather than bring in my own soup/sandwich

Once a week we get a takeaway

Scent boosters for the washing machine when I'm feeling flush

PiebaldHamster · 08/03/2019 21:50

Pens! Nice pens. I also have a fountain pen my father gave me when I graduated from uni. I write letters and cards regularly to friends and family and daily in my journal so I enjoy my own pens.

Bamboo or alpaca wool to knit with, gorgeous!

Every week or fortnight I visit the local charity shops with a tenner on me. I spend the tenner on whatever takes my fancy (usually something for the house) and I come home feeling like I have done a mega splurge (except it’s still on a budget) 👍🏻
