😱 can't believe it. Prodigy were one of my favourite bands growing up. Police say it's not suspicious. We should not jump to conclusions. But another legend of the music industry.

My husband just called me to tell me. Absolutely devastated. I loved that group, and the music they produced.

He was a heavy drug user so my guess would be drugs related somehow. I used to love the Prodigy and he's the same age as me so it does make you stop and think.

I saw them live for the first time last year - so glad I went but so sad I'll never get to go again, they were great.

@Asta19 I wonder that too, my friend was a heavy drug user and died of a heart attack at 40 because of his previous drug use.

Would not like to speculate. Obviously thoughts are with his friends and family.

I saw them live at an outdoor venue about 2002, they were superb! They blew all the other bands out the water including the massive band at the time slipknot.

I didn't know much about him as a man to be honest so it would be disingenuous to say I'm saddened but I am sad about him as an artist being gone.

I saw this half an hour ago. I loved The Prodigy, they were great and exactly what I needed to give my parents the finger.....just slam the bedroom door and play it as loud as I could! Very sorry to have heard he has died :(

I thought he was a lot older. Very sad he took his own life at any age, but 50 is so young.
