😱 can't believe it. Prodigy were one of my favourite bands growing up. Police say it's not suspicious. We should not jump to conclusions. But another legend of the music industry.

He committed suicide. 49 is no age.

SardineQueenII · 04/03/2019 12:56

RIP Keith

Banterlope · 04/03/2019 12:56

Turn it Up:

RIP firestarterSad

Nicknacky · 04/03/2019 13:01

And not forgetting Charly!!

I’m genuinely saddened by this. Just shows that fame, money etc doesn’t make a life happy.

HerBigChance · 04/03/2019 13:02

Saw them at Knebworth. Very very sad about this, he's the same age as me. Gutted that another person I admire has gone. Condolences to his family and friends.

Supine · 04/03/2019 13:03

I've seen a few people saying that he was one of those musicians that every generation has, one that made parents totally freak the fuck out. Absolutely agree with that. Smile

Banterlope · 04/03/2019 13:03

Always preferred the B Side to Charley Says, still got the vinyl. Memories of driving around the M25 looking for the party with this on the tape deck

AliceAforethought · 04/03/2019 13:10

That’s so sad, too young. I saw them ca. 1996 and they were amazing.

Nicknacky · 04/03/2019 13:12

I keep changing my mind about what one was my favourite song. At the moment it’s “Everybody in the place”

ahtellthee · 04/03/2019 13:13

Such a shame when anyone feels that is their best option. Sad

FrankiesKnuckle · 04/03/2019 13:17

One of the best frontmen ever.

I love and have loved the prodigy since their inception, I have raved my tits off to them numerous times.

So sad that he couldn't reach out this time.

What a character.

What a loss.

Meandmetoo · 04/03/2019 13:27

My all time fave is Narayana from fat of the land.

If I go out to my car now the cd would pick up from about halfway through minefields. Another corker.

Urgh........gutted, absolutely gutted.

thesunwillout · 04/03/2019 13:35

Yes saw them in 97, and 2015 ish.
Same age as me. He was such an icon for mine and others generation.
This is crap. Damn it. ☹️

downcasteyes · 04/03/2019 13:41

Really sad, was genuinely shocked when I heard.

I wish there was more effective help. It's so sad to think of someone being so alone at the end.

Dowser · 04/03/2019 19:07

My midlife crush 😢

Dowser · 04/03/2019 19:13

Saw them backstage at reading...I chatted to Liam and my son to max.
Goodness knows where Keith was
Then again at Newcastle a few years later

Fab. Both times

fauxhuman · 04/03/2019 19:18

My favourite is 'wind it up' they were best in the earlier albums

Decormad38 · 04/03/2019 19:19

Gutted 😢

Onesmallstepforaman · 04/03/2019 19:22

Never saw them, but knew of Keith from his motorcycling and sponsorship of it. He was a great frontman and a hell of a biker. Better to burn out than fade away, but he'll be missed in more than the music scene

Whynham · 04/03/2019 19:29

Emily Eavis said they were booked to play this year's Glastonbury too Sad

sagradafamiliar · 04/03/2019 19:31

So sad about this. Just a gorgeous man through and through
(And I'll never forget my grandma's face watching The Prodigy on TOTP! 😁)

ForeverFaithless · 05/03/2019 00:30

😞 Just so sad. Love their music.
