I was looking back to when I was a teenager on a school trip to the Barbican to see, I forget, probably The Importance of being Ernest. And before it started a group of us had a grand old time riding the lifts.
A friend of mine who used to bunk off lessons regularly would find it great fun to hide under the stage during assembly. Why??? It was dark, damp and full of creepy crawlies. She shakes her head and laughs at herself now.
I also tried a cough candy the other day (which I used to love on the rare occasions I had them). I couldn't finish it. Too much sugar in one go (probably just as well).
Anyone else want to share their remembered pleasures which turn out to be a bit meh, or 'WTF was all that about?' as an adult?
